Meet Nessie!
Nessie is a 2 year old female that is currently available
Nessie has spent her entire life here at Seafever and she is a very sweet, gentle girl, but she does lack confidence in new situations and around new people. For this reason, we've decided Nessie is best suited to be placed into a pet home and not as part of our breeding program. She needs a quiet home that does not have a lot of daily hustle and bustle. She does very well with a set routine where she knows what to expect and can chill out at home. She absolutely loves going for walks and is a total fish in our pool! An ideal home for her would be with owners that like to spend their time going on leashed walks in a quiet neighbourhood and hanging around the house and who have the patience to let this girl get comfortable on her own timeline. She's not a dog that wants to walk around in the City, or be thrust into busy, crowded situations. She is used to living with a lot of dogs and a home that has a confident, well adjusted, playful dog would be right up Nessie's alley! We do not recommend applying if you have a puppy or a young dog still in training as puppies and younger dogs are already time consuming enough with their own training needs that Nessie will need a home that is ready to dedicate time and patience to her. She has no experience with cats and limited time spent with kids, although we feel she'd be fine in a household with older, respectful kids. A fenced in yard is a must with Nessie and she will require a leash on walks.
She is fully housetrained, crate trained, very good about being groomed, quiet in the house unless there is something good to bark at, and is very easy to live with. We will be placing Nessie within driving distance to us here in Ontario, Canada. She can be placed in the US due to her age, but again, only within driving distance.

We are in absolutely no rush to place this girl as she is a part of our family and placing her has been a very difficult decision. We plan to take our time screening homes to ensure we find her the best possible home to meet her needs.
