How many ponies can you spot ? Tonight’s lesson touched on how to position yourself while riding up and down steep hills. Walking hacks also teach our riders how to be confident and independent outside of the arena as well as the benefits of low impact training for the horses. Did someone say strengthening?! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 🔥

I need to do a little “mid silver 2” shoutout for Great Go Go, Aka Mojo Dojo Casa House, owned by the Santamaria family. Kiana piloted him around his first flat class at his first time off property , and around his first full course this morning in the Astamax ring, with a super effort from the pair. They have a few more classes this weekend, but for a little dude off the track in November he has really proved how good his brain is. He’s also just cute as a button 🥺🫶💕

Today is our beloved Humorus Holiday, Aka Rosie’s 7th birthday ! She is thoroughly enjoying her new life, after retiring from being a riding horse. She is being loved, pampered and extremely happy! Thank you to for helping place her into a new home 🥰

Talking In Whispers had his WEC debut and was a star!! He was such an excellent boy all week, and stepped into every ring like he’d been raised there. We did a little switch up and played in jumper land to try something new ! Rachael was a great sport and we had some huge breakthroughs in the schooling ring (as well as some pretty goofy comments going INTO the show ring 🤣). Thank you for giving me and Chelsea a few heart attacks and then riding your butt off, never giving up and always coming out with a smile and a pat for your pony. Chelsea also got to take Hugo around the 3’0” Thoroughbred Hunter division and had a blast ! Results for his team are as follows. Rachael and Hugo

Next up we have On The Double ! Aka Dublin. Lauren shared her lovely boy with Emilie for the week and both gals had some wonderful rounds and great flat classes with him where they could show off their equitation. We’ve all been working hard at home and it payed off in the big ring. Emilie demonstrated her catch riding abilities, and showed Dublin off beautifully in some under saddle classes. I was also proud of how well Lauren knows her horse, executing some extremely handy turns in their derby, earning a spot in the ribbons out of 35 riders! Lauren and Dublin

SWS Meadowsweet was the goodest boy coming back to WEC for the second year. His girls had each only ridden him a handful of times, but they stepped confidently into the ring after a solid schooling. It was so fun to have him show these gals the ropes at WEC! Lizzy and Dexter

SWS Autumn Blaze, AKA Larry was the BEST boy for his girls all week. He went from jumping around in the big ring with Ella, to taking care of his momma in the poles class. Ella put down some of the best trips we’ve ever seen from their partnership and learned SO much. He even got subbed in and was a great dude for Aysha to finish off her week at WEC. Ella and Larry
