⛑️ Meet the team - Dr Dylan ⛑️

We would like to extend a very warm welcome to Dr Dylan, who has recently joined the Warrandyte Vet team!

After working at a small animal clinic on Port Phillip island, Dr Dylan is excited to build community with the patients and clients of Warrandyte.

With a special interest in radiology, Dr Dylan enjoys the varied and client-focused nature of clinical veterinary consulting. Working with owners to problem solve and address concerns for beloved family members is where he is happiest 🫶

At home, Dylan cares for his 8 year old Staffy x Kelpie, Lylah, who is a sweet rescue girl. In his spare time, he enjoys the beach, bouldering and getting frozen yoghurt with friends 🍦

Today we are celebrating Warrandyte Vet’s Patient of the Month - Abby!

Abby is a lovable 11 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who visited us recently for a dental scale and polish under anaesthesia.

To evaluate the comprehensive health of each tooth, Dr Sarah performed full mouth x-rays for Abby during her procedure. These x-rays indicated that one tooth needed to be extracted - can you spot the missing tooth in the After photo?

Safe to say, Abby is feeling much better with that infected, painful tooth now removed. And check out her new pearly whites 😁 Well done Abby, brave girl ❤️

PATIENT POV — Join Lollie as she gets her desexing and gastropexy procedure done! 🍭 During a gastropexy, we suture the stomach to the abdominal wall. Being a large breed dog, this helps to protect Lollie against developing Gastric Dilation-Volvulus, or GDV, which is a life threatening emergency if it occurs. Lollie has recovered from her surgery and is doing well at home with her brother, (not so) Tiny. Well done Lollie ❤️🐾

Dr Cindy had a lot of fun guest judging the Dog Show at Warrandyte Festival this year!

It was great to see familiar faces in the crowd, and a big shoutout to local organisers and businesses for making this year’s event a success 👏 We feel so grateful to be part of this vibrant and dedicated festival for the community.

🐈‍⬛ Meet Noctis and KitKat, two brothers who visited us recently for desexing!

These beautiful boys definitely enchanted us during their post-op checks, and Dr Sarah snapped a photo to share with you all. Family desexing at its finest 😎

At your pet’s complimentary post-operative checks, we like to make sure their surgery sites are healing nicely and they have recovered from their anaesthetic appropriately. It is also the time we can take off those collars we know they love so much…
