MISSING CAT – PLEASE HELP FIND OSCAR!

Oscar, one of our long-term clients' beloved cats, has been missing from East West Road, Warragul since Saturday, 30th May.

Oscar has a medical condition and requires regular medication, so his family is very concerned for his wellbeing.

Please keep an eye out in your yard, shed, garage, and surrounding areas. If you have seen Oscar or have any information, please contact our clinic as soon as possible.

From Limping to Healing: Cokey’s Story!

Cokey visited us at Baw Baw Paws after his family noticed he was limping on his back right leg.
Our team acted immediately and performed a thorough examination, where we found that Cokey had a torn cruciate ligament in his knee. This is a very common injury in dogs and can cause pain, instability, and difficulty walking.

To help Cokey walk comfortably again, he needed a special knee surgery. This surgery helps reduce pain, improves walking and movement, and gives him the best chance of a good recovery. Without the surgery, the knee would stay unstable and could become more painful over time due to arthritis!

Cokey is now doing great, and we’re so happy we could help him get back on his paws again 😍 Our goal is to always deliver the best possible care and support for every patient who walks through our doors ❤️

Please note that our clinic will be closed on Saturday, 25th April for the ANZAC Day public holiday.

We will resume our usual opening hours from Monday, 27th April.

Teddy’s Fresh Smile! 😁

Teddy (4 years and 8 months old) visited us at Baw Baw Paws yesterday for a dental scale and polish — and what a transformation! 😍

Exciting News: Dr. Lachlan Joins Our Baw Baw Paws Family!

We’re so happy to welcome Dr.Lachlan! Originally from Melbourne, Lachlan made the move to regional life as soon as he graduated, working in places like Launceston (TAS) and Murray Bridge (SA) before finding his way to beautiful West Gippsland. He’s now settled in Drouin and is excited to be part of the local Warragul community.

Lachlan really enjoys all aspects of small animal care and loves getting to know both pets and their parents. He’s passionate about keeping your furry family members healthy and happy for years to come.

At home, Lachlan has a very cheeky 8-year-old cattle dog cross named Nara, who keeps life interesting! When he’s not at the clinic, you’ll likely find him out exploring the great outdoors—hiking, cycling, or enjoying a bit of bird photography around the region.

If you see Lachlan around the clinic, feel free to say hello and give him a warm Baw Baw welcome! 🐶🐱❤️
