Tomorrow this little girl any myself haha get to walk down the aisle at her mums wedding tomorrow, super stoked to be asked to train her and get her ready for the big day. Zara has made big strides in her obedience training and in her behaviour to be able to cope with the day 🥰bring on tomorrow

2nd last lesson with this gorgeous girl, she is only 1 years old she has struggled and times to use her impulse control, to hold her commands at times especially around mum and dad, however the last two days she has finally got it, she has switched it on it time for the very big day, her response to tones is super, her obedience exercises and stay type exercises are very good even when throwing her favourite toys around, we were able to walk off lead and she stay close to me, very proud at the strides young Zara has taken to really listen and respond. Meet Roxy and Bison these two are big dogs bug they are such nice dogs, when mum invited them inside I predicted they would bolt in and jump up, but they came in quite nicely, they learnt sit and sit for longer duration and a drop for a longer duration as well, this teaches them impulse control response, next after mum and dad had a go we moved on to manners and boundaries, teaches the dogs to use impulse control and to start to think about what they are doing rather than just doing what they like, these two did so so well very happy with these two looking forward to seeing them in some group class situations.

Meet these Kobe and Sunny, had a lesson with these two yesterday, we worked on some obedience exercises while adding in some distance and duration while in a command, we want to teach them to switch on impulse control. Next we moved on teaching manners the every day stuff around the house, then we taught some boundaries from outside to the inside teaching Kobe and Sunny to wait to be invited to come inside, next we worked on the couch teaching them to wait to be invited up rather than jumping up and jumping all over the couch, and the kitchen boundary pure because they are not a safe space for the dogs to be under our feet. These two did so well at listening looking forward to seeing their progress in the coming weeks

Meet Sadie, today we had our first lesson, she learnt to sit without a food treat and learnt to stay there when I moved away from her, this teaches her to use her impulse control, we also implemented a drop command and a drop step away as I felt this was needed for many reasons. We moved on to teaching her some house manners and boundaries, she made several mistakes but if they don't make those mistakes how are they going to learn. At the end we taught her a bed command to teach her to stay and relax on her bed when she is asked to. She made steps to show she is listening and responding by the time I went home. Looking forward to seeing her progress 🥰

Update on Jameson he is listening so much better, today we worked on drop for longer duration, he learnt to stay using his impulse control under distraction of his human brothers, I must say he did very well. He learnt a command to have a health check and worked on recall under distraction while on lead, teaching recall while having the lead attached under distraction teaches them to come back when called, eventually down the track owners can convert this to off lead.
We went inside and set up some more boundaries, his listening to verbal tones is coming along very nicely. Looking forward to seeing Jameson and family in a couple of weeks where he can learn to listen under distraction of other dogs during some group classes.

We have a foster dog in the house she has been with us for month or so, we are making sure she knows we have rules in the house. Mardi is making wonderful progress on her listening and learning skills. She is only 5 month old puppy, learning to hold her boundary using her impulse control. Another training day preparing for mum and dad's big day yay wedding can't wait. Today we worked off lead working on manners, boundaries and listening responses, because on the big day we need to be able to listen and respond when needed, Zara did super job.

Update on our wedding preparations, Zara had a moment today where she didn't want to listen but we worked through her resistance and came out the other end. At the end of the day she is a young teen just testing the waters. Can't wait for her to walk down the aisle with her mum and bridesmaids strutting her stuff.

Meet Ebony and Poppy these two are absolutely Devine, mum and dad and her two human brothers picked them up last week, today these two managed a sit command they even held it for a longer period while I stepped out in front of them, teaching our dogs learn and listen early on in their life is so important, our puppies learning to grow up well rounded, it is as much about the owners learning as well as the dog. We introduced some boundaries as well.
So proud of these two and what they were able to do today. The end we introduced a mat command what can I say after getting off a few times they curled up and went to sleep 💤

Myah and Harley testing their obedience out and about. Knowing if we get into a sticky situation they have the skills to listen, tested their skills on the road side making certain they know it is a boundary and not a command.

Meet Billie, Billie likes to think he owns the house and his owners and he can do what he likes, he thought by using his teeth by grabbing onto the halter he could get away with it and commando rolling. we worked through this silly stuff, mum and dad have a journey ahead of them, but they are prepared to put the work in that is needed to help him. Today he learnt to sit, drop and stay until released, once we got through the initial stuff he worked quite well. When we started on the manners and boundaries he decided to return to learnt behaviours, we had to think outside of the square, at the end of the session we introduced a mat command this is his space to chill relax use his impulse control. I saw so much change in this guy, very proud of this team looking forward to our next lesson.

Update on Bella, wow what can I say mum and dad have put the work in and she is doing super. Today she learnt to drop, and stay there no matter where we were. She is further learning to think for herself, she learnt to come back when called on lead, she also learnt to roll on her side with guidance and have a health check. We went out for a walk she is learning not to pull on the lead, now mum and dad know how to teach her. Super proud of this family 🥰🥰

Update on Dustin, when we first met mum and dad were concerned about going away because he had no listening skills, through teaching him obedience and manners and some boundaries I am happy to say how well he is doing. We had a second lesson a few days ago mum and dad have put the work in that was needed to have a great dog. his doing super, his impulse control is so good he now knows how to listen, when I introduced him to Myah he so was excited he did break the command he was in with a few resets he got it, I was even able to bring her closer and he was able hold his drop command. Super impressed with mum and dad for teaching Dustin so they can enjoy the holidays together

This afternoon I got to play with this gorgeous girl. I am getting her ready for her mum and dads wedding coming up in January, she has had lessons in the past so we are making certain that she is ready for the big day and her obedience and manners are rock solid

Meet Bella and Bonnie
Today I worked with Bella she is just 7 months old and super excitable. Today we learnt some basic obedience exercises, then moved on to learning appropriate behaviours around the house and some boundaries, Bella did an awesome job at learning how to listen and respond. We finished off with a mat command where she can learn to self regulate in her own space rather than have to be right on top of her owners. Looking forward to our next session where she can learn some more
