Theo the golden Retriever puppy came in over the weekend after eating a super long Chux cloth 🤢 Luckily we were able to induce emesis and bring it back up before it caused a blockage.

A friendly reminder to all pet owners — if your dog eats something they shouldn’t, contact your vet as soon as possible. The sooner they’re seen, the better the chance we can safely bring it up before it becomes a much bigger problem 🐾

As we ring in the New Year, please remember that fireworks can be very stressful for many pets. Loud noises, bright flashes, and unfamiliar activity can cause anxiety — even in pets who’ve coped well in the past.

To help keep your pets safe and comfortable tonight:
🐾 Keep them indoors in a quiet, secure space
🐾 Close windows and curtains to reduce noise and flashes
🐾 Ensure ID tags and microchip details are up to date
🐾 Never leave pets outside unattended during fireworks

If your pet struggles with anxiety, our team can provide consultations to discuss management options and appropriate treatments to help them through the festive period.
