📣 Casual and Part Time POSITIONS
We are expanding and seeking Casual and part time kennel attendants to join our team !
The Kennel Attendant will be responsible for the daily care and well-being of our animal guests, including feeding, cleaning, and providing exercise and socialisation. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a busy environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Feed and water animals according to their individual needs
Clean and sanitise kennels, and other animal living areas
Provide exercise, interaction and love for animals.
Monitor animal behavior and communicate any concerns.
Administer medication and treatments as directed.
Maintain accurate records of animal care and behaviour.
Communicate with clients
Work within a team and independently.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Be well presented and punctual.
High attention to detail.
Ability to confidently care for dogs and cats
of all shapes, sizes and temperament.
Be able to communicate within a team and with clients.
Physical Demands: The position requires cleaning , bending, lifting , kneeling , outside weather exposure , being on your feet , and you will be exposed to hair , odours and animal waste.
Shift times are split 7-11am // 2-5.30pm .
This role includes Saturdays and Sundays and some weekdays .
Interviews will be Saturday 30 August on site
Training is provided, positions are for an immediate start.
