🎈 The answer is… a BALLOON! 🎈

Thank you to everyone who shared their guesses. We know you’ve been waiting for the reveal!

During surgery, we discovered that this silly little kitty had swallowed a balloon. While it may have seemed like a tasty snack at the time, it caused an intestinal obstruction and made him very unwell.

Thankfully, the balloon was successfully removed, and he is now on the road to recovery. 🐱❤️

We hope he continues to recover well, and we can’t wait to see him back for a happy, healthy visit soon.

This is also a good reminder to keep stringy and chewable household items, including balloons, out of reach of curious pets, as they can pose a serious risk if swallowed.

Last week, an owner brought her cat to us after noticing he was very unwell. During a thorough examination, Dr Meera identified signs that suggested a possible intestinal obstruction.

To investigate further, we recommended X-rays, which revealed a suspicious area within the intestines. Based on those findings, we proceeded with exploratory surgery.

We had the absolute pleasure of caring for Olive the Cavoodle last week during her dental clean. She is one of the sweetest little dogs we have ever met!

As many of our clients know, whether your pet visits us for vaccinations, surgery, boarding, or a routine check-up, they always receive plenty of love and attention from our team.

Olive was no exception. Just look at her amazing before-and-after dental photos! Her teeth are looking so much cleaner, and we’re thrilled with the results.

We loved having Olive in our care and hope she has a smooth and speedy recovery. We can’t wait to see her again soon! 🐾💙

Does your dog have a lump? And you're not sure if it needs checking? 🐾

Our little friend Toxic the English Staffy recently came in for a check-up. During his examination, the vet noticed a lump on his chest.
At first glance, the lump didn't look concerning, but Dr Erin decided to investigate further. Using a small needle sample, she examined the cells under the microscope and, to her surprise, diagnosed a Mast Cell Tumour — one of the most common malignant skin cancers seen in dogs.
Toxic was promptly booked in for surgery to remove the lump, and the tissue was sent to the laboratory to ensure the entire tumour had been successfully removed.
Thankfully, because it was detected and treated early, Toxic has the best possible outcome.

✨ A friendly reminder: Not all cancerous lumps look nasty or alarming. If you notice any new lump or bump on your pet, it's always worth having it checked by your veterinarian. Early detection can be life saving.

Boarders of the week!!🥰🐾

We’ve had the absolute pleasure of looking after the adorable kitten Sir Stewie 🐱 and the little pocket rocket Kobe 🐶💨

We love having puppies and kittens stay with us for boarding — the nurses always have the best time playing with them, spoiling them with cuddles, and watching them grow up before our eyes ❤️

We already can’t wait to see these cuties again for their next stay! 🐾✨

We had some very cute guests visit us for vaccinations and health checks 🐶💕

Just look at this adorable bunch of Yorkshire Terriers! We were lucky enough to meet mum, dad, and all the beautiful puppies — and needless to say, we were completely over the moon with all the cuddles and cuteness.

We can’t wait to watch these little ones grow up and see them back for future visits 🐾✨

This gorgeous little kitty came in for her desexing procedure and left looking extra adorable in her tiny cone and recovery suit! 😍 She may not have been too impressed with her new outfit, but we all thought she was the cutest patient ever. 💖

Look at this little cutie pie! 🐾 Everyone meet Lenny 💕 He’s a Pomeranian cross Poodle and is a whopping 900 grams of pure sweetness!

He got his 2nd puppy vaccine on Friday, and we were so excited to finally meet him 🥹🐶 I think it’s safe to say he’s already stolen our hearts!
