Halloween can be fun for us, but all the costumes, decorations, strange noises and unexpected visitors can be a little too spooky for our pets 🐾

If your pet is easily frightened or anxious, help them feel safe this Halloween:

🕯️ Create a quiet, comfortable space away from the front door
🔊 Keep scary noises and loud music to a minimum
🚪 Make sure doors, gates and windows are secure
🎃 Keep decorations, candles and treats safely out of reach
💛 Let your pet hide or retreat if they’re feeling overwhelmed and never force them to interact

A little preparation can help keep Halloween fright-free for your furry family members 🐶🐱

If your pet is prone to anxiety, speak with our veterinary team about ways we can help them feel more comfortable.

Mental health matters. For our team. For our clients.

Veterinary care can come with emotional and challenging moments. Our teams support pets and their families through life’s highs and lows, and we know it can be an emotional experience for clients too.

This World Mental Health Day, we’re recognising the importance of looking after the people behind the pets.

It’s okay to have difficult days, ask for support and take a moment to look after yourself 🐾

Happy Vet Nurse Day to the heart and soul of our clinic 🐾
Veterinary Nurses are often overlooked as ‘just support staff’ but these highly trained professionals are the multitasking ninjas that keep everything running.
Pulling bloods, running labs, taking swabs, placing IVs, running anaesthesia, shooting X-rays, calculating and administering medications, restraining, advocating, holding paws, answering phones, problem solving, scheduling, celebrating wins, sharing in grief, having difficult conversations, performing CPR, keeping the vets on track and so much more.
Today and everyday, we thank our nurses Emmy-Lou, Tiffany, Frankee, newbie Nat, Bec, and baby nurse Ingrid for all that they do! 💙

HAPPY VETERINARY NURSE DAY! 🐾💙

Today we’re celebrating the incredible veterinary nurses who are the heart of our clinic.

From comforting nervous patients and caring for hospitalised pets, to assisting with surgery, supporting our vets and reassuring pet parents - our nurses do so much, often behind the scenes 🩺

Being a vet nurse takes compassion, patience, resilience and an enormous amount of heart ❤️

To all our wonderful veterinary nurses, thank you for the care, dedication and love you give to every patient, every day. We couldn’t do it without you! 🐶🐱🐾
