🐾 Meet the Team – Dr Loren 🐾

We’re proud to introduce Dr Loren Apel, she has been one of our caring and
dedicated veterinarians for the past two years💙

Dr Loren holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Bachelor of Science from The University of Queensland, and brings both knowledge and genuine compassion to every patient she sees. Growing up on her family’s cattle farm in the Western Downs, she developed a deep respect for animals and the important role they play in our lives—something that continues to inspire her work every day 🐄🐶🐱

She enjoys all aspects of small animal general practice, with special interests in dentistry, ultrasonography, and soft tissue surgery. Dr Loren is especially passionate about working closely with pet owners, offering clear guidance and support so you can feel confident making decisions about your pet’s health. Building strong relationships with our clients is something she truly values 🤝

When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll likely find Dr Loren out exploring the great outdoors—hiking with her dog and soaking up nature 🌿🐾

🐾 Meet the Team – Marsha 🐾

We’re excited to introduce Marsha, one of our wonderful veterinary nurses here at the clinic! 💙

New to the veterinary industry with experience across multiple clinics, Marsha brings a unique background to our team. Before joining the veterinary world, she built a successful career in corporate customer service management and hospitality—so you can be sure both you and your furry family members are in caring, capable hands.

Marsha has a special interest in surgical nursing and caring for our hospitalised patients. She’s passionate about making every animal feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after during their stay with us 🐶🐱

At home, Marsha is kept busy by her two beloved pets—Marley the dog and Kevin, her cheeky rescue cat from Darwin 🐾

When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her enjoying time with family and friends, discovering great food (often with a glass of wine 🍷), camping under the stars, or unwinding with a good show—especially true crime! She also loves reading, dancing, music, sports, and planning her next overseas adventure ✈️
