The Terrific Tango💃 came in last week for his COHAT procedure with Dr Dan!

COHAT stands for Comprehensive Oral Health Assessment and Treatment. Tango received a full physical examination first thing in the morning to ensure there would be no surprises during his anaesthetic. Once he was given the all clear, he received some pre-medication to help keep calm and an IV Catheter was placed (which gave him that beautiful green bracelet in the photo).
Once under anaesthesia, Tango had a complete examination of his teeth and oral cavity, then a full Scale and Polish of all of his teeth.

Despite what his grumpy face might show you, he was lapping up the love during his recovery period. To be honest, during the entire day!

Little Baby Binx is no longer a baby! He first came into our clinic a few months ago for a sore leg. After lots of TLC (and some x-rays), he finished his vaccinations and was all cleared to continue his kitten shenanigans.

He returned this week for his castration procedure. Feline castration is a little different than their canine counterparts as their sc***um is typically left open to heal. Castrating your cat helps to reduce unwanted behaviors such as spraying (urinating) throughout the house, fighting other cats, and increasing the population of local kittens. 🐈‍⬛
