Meet Squid! 💙
This cheeky boy kept his family on their toes after knocking over a container of soup containing onion 🥣🧅

As onions can be toxic to cats, Squid came straight in to see our team. We were able to safely induce vomiting to help remove the contents before they could cause more serious problems.

🚨 Did you know?
Onions, garlic, chives and other members of the allium family can damage red blood cells in cats and dogs, potentially leading to anaemia.

If your pet eats something they shouldn’t, contact your vet as soon as possible — acting quickly can make all the difference!

The green glow you see highlights areas where the cornea is injured, such as ulcers or scratches. These can be very painful and, if left untreated, may lead to serious complications.

Early detection is key! If your pet is squinting, has a watery eye, or you notice redness or discharge, it’s time for a check-up. 💙

How cute is this little baby sugar glider who visited us for his first health check and introduction? 🐾✨

While these tiny pocket pets are absolutely adorable, they do require a large, enriching enclosure and a varied, balanced diet to stay healthy and happy. 💚

Our vets are always here to provide husbandry advice, and for this little guy, desexing will also be recommended once he’s big enough.
