Territory day is fast approaching- heres some tips on how to keep your pets safe.
💥Keep pets indoors- bright, flashing lights when combined with the loud noises from fireworks can be frightening, leading to confusion, panick and fear causing them to try and escape or hide and they can be injured in doing so.
🥰Stay at home with your pet if you can - why not enjoy this cooler weather, snuggle up and schedule a movie night in with your pet!
Provide comfort and distraction- music, favourite toys/ blankets/ something to chew on.
🦮Take your dog for a walk - we all know what its like here in the Territory - people dont always adhere to times and days allocated to setting off fireworks so be aware and exercise early on and make sure you have your dog secured on a leash and harness.

As always make sure your pets microchip details are up to date or call us if you need to get your pet microchipped- this is the best way to ensure you can be contacted and reunited with your pet if they do get lost.
