Every year most of our fur babies experience stress and anxiety from the loud noises and vibrations of firecrackers being let off, so make sure you include their needs in your plans.

⚠️ Top Tips to keep your pet safe on Territory Day include:

🔹Keeping your pet inside while fireworks are going off
🔹Turn on the radio or television to provide background noise
🔹Ensure your boundary fence is secure, and your pet can’t escape
🔹Make sure your pet is microchipped so it can quickly and easily be reunited with family if it is lost and wearing a collar with an identification tag.
PLEASE ensure ALL microchip details are up to date, especially your contact numbers!
🔹If you know your dog doesn’t do well on firecracker night, sedation medication can be supplied by the Vet (given that your pet has had a vet consult within the last 6 months)

The wet season is on its way out, but its important to remember that our beloved pets still need regular worming and tick control through the dry months

Here’s how you can keep your pets safe:
✅ Stay up to date with vet-recommended tick prevention
✅ Intestional worming every 3 months during the drier months.
✅ Check your pets daily, especially after time outdoors
✅ Keep grass short and yards well maintained
✅ Avoid dense bush areas where possible
