Heat stroke is common in our climate, especially with the popularity of brachycephalic breeds, that can’t cool themselves down easily.

It is important to ensure your pet has shade available and water bowels that can’t be tipped over. Do not leave pets in cars, even for short periods. Avoid walking your dog in the heat of the day.

Spring has sprung. It is always best to leave baby birds in the area where they are found. Elevated them to the closest tree and mum and dad usually will come a feed them. If they are in danger, or being attacked, you can drop them to your closest vet clinic.
