A special announcement for your Monday 💫

The Vet Xpress family is growing… a little sister for Madeline is on the way… Due October🤰 💗

What does this mean for Vet Xpress?
• Currently not taking new clients- my apologies but I’ll be taking some time off and can’t begin new client relationships at this time

• Im starting to slow down… appointments without 1-2 weeks notice may not be able to be accommodated… I can’t keep going at my current rate of work load as I need to take some time to slow down and get ready for this new chapter. A hospital visit last week means I have to follow doctors orders 🫣

• How long will I have off work? At this point I am not sure… be sure to keep an eye out for announcements.. medication collection will still be available. Please give as much notice as possible to ensure orders can be filled. 💊

•Very limited appointments will be available with our fab nurse Michelle but again without 1-2 weeks notice we may not be able to accommodate your request

• I’ll be finishing up around mid September to go on Maternity Leave

• Yes I am very good at keeping a secret 🤫

Please note I’m taking a little break and will be away from the 24th-31st July to enjoy some time with my family in Queenstown… our first stop involved a farm visit naturally.. can’t keep me away from animals 🐶🐮🫏 feel free to text bookings for next week and I will reply when I can

We are incredibly grateful for the support our clinic has been receiving lately..Please see below for important new updates:

•With our schedule filling quickly, we ask that current clients please book appointments at least one week in advance where possible.

•Routine bookings for litters and vaccinations may not be able to be accommodated if not given a weeks notice.

•For litters I recommend contacting me when your puppies/kittens are 3-4 weeks old to arrange a booking

•To ensure we can continue providing the highest level of care, we will also be limiting new client bookings for the time being

•Whilst we are busy we would also appreciate that you limit contacting Dr Mel and Michelle outside of business hours. We put everything into our day jobs and are finding clients increasingly contacting us out of hours. We need rest and time with our families so please make use of available after hour vets or wait until 9am to contact us and please no later than 3pm as Dr Mel has school pick up to attend too.
