🎉 Happy belated birthday to our lovely Indi! 💗

We celebrated Indi’s birthday last week and wanted to take a moment to show her some appreciation for all the hard work she’s been putting in recently. 🥰

Indi has such a kind and gentle nature, and it shines through in the way she cares for every animal that walks through our doors. She gives each patient so much love, patience and attention, and we’re so lucky to have her as part of our Morningside Vet team. 🐾💕

🌟 Meet Ruby! 💎

Ruby recently came in for a dental scale and polish as well as full-mouth dental X-rays. Unfortunately, one of her molars was affected by a tooth root abscess. Ouch!

🦷 A tooth root abscess is a painful infection around the root of a tooth, often caused by injury or advanced periodontal disease.

The dental X-rays allowed us to assess the tooth root and surrounding bone. In Ruby's X-ray, the dark area surrounding the molar root shows changes associated with the abscess.

The affected tooth was was extracted to remove the source of infection and help relieve her pain. 💜
