That’s a BIG difference 😸

It also explain why cats can be so particular at mealtime… Unlike us, cats don’t choose food based on the way it tastes. Instead, they’re much more interested in SMELL, TEXTURE, SHAPE and CRUNCH.

This is one reason we don’t recommend constantly changing your cat’s food to keep them “interested”. Cats generally do very well on the same high-quality commercial diet every day, provided it’s complete and balanced.

And don’t forget to choose a food that contains TAURINE — an essential amino acid that cats cannot make themselves. Taurine is critical for healthy vision, heart function and overall wellbeing ✨

Vet tip: think about the floors! Pets lying on tiles or even timber floorboards can get surprisingly cold, especially overnight. Adding a soft bed, blanket, or raised mat can make a big difference in keeping them warm and comfortable this winter 💜

Mr Squiggle 💜 this month we said goodbye to a very special patient. At 21 years old, he was one of our oldest gentleman and such a loved part of the village.

While saying goodbye never gets easier, being there for our patients through every stage of life is one of the greatest privileges about being a vet. Tonight, give your furry family members an extra tight cuddle from us & raise a toast to Mr Squiggle 😽🌈

If you’ve heard a little baby in the clinic lately, that’s Miss Lila — Dr Ellen & Tim’s baby girl. It’s been a busy week, so it’s truly been all hands on deck for the whole family.
