Terry Griffin

Terry was around from day one helping to get the club up and running. After holding varies positions in the early years he then later became Club President in 1980 and then again in 2003/04.

Terry became an Honorary Life Member in 1983 and was a Special guest at our recent birthday event.

Terry has been an Obedience and Agility judge since the 1980's and you will still see him out judging today!

Celebrating 50 incredible years at BDOC! 🎉 Our birthday bash was held on the weekend on a beautiful windy day. We were delighted to watch as each dog sport showcased their unique spirit with live demos.

A big thank you to the Birthday subcommittee and all volunteers who made it a wonderful day.

50 years at BDOC - The Second move – Darling Street to Morisset Road Mitchell.

In 1984, the Club became aware that its 25-year lease over the Darling Street grounds would not be renewed when it expired in 2004 due to plans to use the Club grounds for commercial purposes.
A lengthy and arduous task then commenced to find a new home for the Club. A Working Party was formed in 1995 to deal with the development of the new grounds and construction of a Clubhouse.
The current Club grounds and Clubhouse were officially opened by Chief Minister Kate Carnell on 12 April 1997 and was open for business in May 1997.
The first Obedience, Agility and Flyball trials were held at the Club as a part of the celebration of the official opening on 12 April 1997.

The little green dunny shed is still there today!!! Used for equipment storage.
