Bella is being fostered by one of our amazing staff so let’s spread this far and wide to find her that right home she deserves

If you’re searching for a loyal, loving companion who’ll be your best friend through thick and thin, Bella might just be your perfect match. This gorgeous Staffy mix has been through a lot in her young life, but she hasn’t let that dampen her spirit. After a tough start in Far North Queensland, Bella has come a long way—both in heart and distance—and is now ready to find her forever family in Canberra.

🏠 Training & Home Life:
Bella is crate trained, house trained, and has some lovely basic obedience. She walks well on lead but will benefit from continued guidance to boost her confidence out in the world. Being a Queensland girl, she’s not built for chilly weather, so she’ll need indoor access and a warm bed (preferably next to you). Bonus: she rocks a good sweater!

🚫 No other pets, please:
While Bella is currently living with two other dogs she thrives as the centre of attention. She hasn’t had the chance to properly learn how to engage with cats and pocket pets, so she’ll need to be the only pet in the home.

👨‍👩‍👧 Ideal Home:
Due to her enthusiasm and bouncy energy, Bella and at times a little wary, she’s best suited to a home with older children (15+). She needs a secure, fenced yard (no apartment living for this athletic girl!) and an active family who can give her plenty of playtime, adventures, and structure.

Bella is ready to leave the past behind and start fresh with a family who will show her love, patience, and consistency. In return, she’ll give you unwavering loyalty, heaps of affection, and a whole lot of Staffy-style joy.

Thank you Rachel Mahoney from The Dog Osteo running a workshop today on Canine Body Work. It was incredibly educational and we appreciate you taking the time to travel to Canberra. We were also incredibly lucky to have some very yummy treats baked for us as well! Thank you to everyone who attended today too!

Joey booked in for an exposure outing and had a blast on it. Exposure outings are when we come to your home pick up your dog and take them out to work on something specific. Joeys owners have done an amazing job with training with this guy he was an absolute pleasure to take out. Joey was happy to
jump in my car, gave me a kiss as I drove and was the perfect loose leash walker.
