For my Trick class, or anyone interested in training a back up, here's a little reel I put together. Lots of advantages to using this method; the dog learns to move independently and consciously move their back feet, and it's much easier to get distance from the handler. Have you tried this method? It’s been a busy time at ARGH with overnight boarding dogs. We were super excited to see these guys again. Lewis has been absent for a while having a baby brother to help create memories with, so to have him back staying with us again, we were just as excited as he was. As for Penny and Maggie, well these two little cuties we had also missed, and they have come back in like they never left.
