Riders are welcome to compete on multiple horses in the same event, with the entry fee applying per horse. Open to everyone from 5 years of age and up! Come along, join the fun and make a great day of it.

‼️ GEAR ‼️

You do not need a barrel saddle to enter! All gear must be safe, appropriate and in good working order, whether that’s a dressage, all-purpose or stock saddle.

⛑️ Helmets must be worn by all riders, regardless of age.

‼️ HORSE ELIGIBILITY ‼️

Strictly no established barrel racing horses.

This event is designed for horses and riders who are new to barrel racing and pole bending. Riders may have previous experience but must still be relatively new to the sport.

This Mini Barrel Racing & Pole Bending Fun Day is not a clinic. We’ve created it for riders who are just starting out, those wanting to put their knowledge into practice, or anyone curious to see if the sport is for them.

Come along for something different, exciting and welcoming! It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn, gain confidence, meet like minded people and have some fun. 🫶

Happy Friday all!! 🥳

Client horse Notorious headed out on an outing today! This fella has come leaps and bounds since arriving here for a much needed re-start under saddle.

From reactive, no understanding of leg pressure and no forward, to now being forward, willing, trusting and responsive.

We’re so happy with how much Notorious has improved, it’s been awesome seeing a completely different side to him come out. Such a cool feeling watching these horses learn to trust and enjoy their job! 🤩😃

A little change of discipline for me yesterday… swapping the barrels for the cross country jumps!

Safe to say I had an absolute blast! 😆

Huge thank you to Lily for trusting me with such a talented horse and Chloe, you’ve trained an absolute ripper of a horse!

Clyde was honestly the coolest dude ever. Fun and so genuine, the type of horse that just takes care of you out there. 🙌🏼🤩

Stella has been such a willing partner under saddle, with beautiful paces established and a lovely attitude towards her work.

We are so excited to watch Stella and her owner continue to progress and grow together.

Today we took Rambo home, he has officially graduated from training!

Rambo arrived to us as a completely unhandled c**t, throughout his time with us he learnt all about human presence, leading, tying up and overall handling. During his stay, Rambo was also gelded and handled every step of the way like an absolute champ.

We are so happy to have been part of Rambo’s journey and look forward to watching his future unfold. We can’t wait to see what’s ahead for this special boy. 🙌🏼🥰

At Equine Performance, we believe every horse should be trained as an individual. Our focus is on producing calm, confident and respectful horses through, correct training tailored to suit each horse’s needs.

We offer a variety of programs designed to help horses gain confidence, education and real-world exposure, creating reliable horses both in and out of the arena.

We work with horses of all stages and backgrounds, from unhandled horses through to established performance horses, specific catering to both Western and English disciplines upon request.

🔹 Starting Under Saddle
Includes daily hay, 5 sessions per week and an outing prior to returning home. Hard feed can be provided if supplied by the owner.

🔹 Sales Program (select horses only)
Includes daily hay, 5 sessions per week, professional sale advertisements, sale photos and management of all buyer enquiries through Equine Performance.

🔹 Re-Starting / Trouble Horses / Unhandled
Includes daily hay and 5 sessions per week. Hard feed can be provided if supplied by the owner.

🔹 Miles, Exposure and Education
Includes daily hay and 5 sessions per week. Hard feed can be provided if supplied by the owner.

🔹 Training
Includes daily hay and 5 sessions per week. Hard feed can be provided if supplied by the owner. Strictly for horses needing that little extra training, groundwork touch ups or help in specific areas.

🔹 Float Training
Helping horses become calm and confident with loading, travelling and unloading, helping them to understand loading.

•All packages include 1 lesson prior to departure with horse and owner.
•Weekly updates, videos and photos so owners can see exactly how their horse is progressing.
•Communication is key.
