EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR BUMBELINA 🏡 🩷

I can’t quite believe I’m writing this… but our beautiful little Bumbelina is ready to start looking for her forever family. 🥹
Bumby came to me born with atresia ani, a congenital condition where she was born without a normal a**l opening. She travelled all the way to Perth for specialist surgery and has been through an enormous amount in her short little life.
And now… she is pooping completely on her own and doing amazingly well.
She is the sweetest, happiest little girl and absolutely LOVES other dogs. She has loved being part of my crew here, so preference will be given to a home with another friendly dog for companionship.
As with all of these complex cases, I cannot tell you exactly what lifelong will look like for Bumby.
Right now she is doing incredibly well, and hopefully that continues for the rest of her life. However, her future family needs to understand her history and be completely committed to investigating and treating anything that may arise in the future.
For this reason, Bumby will only be adopted to a home in Perth. I need her to remain close to me and the veterinary team who know her history should she ever need us in the future.
Her adoption contract will also stipulate that if at any point her family is unable to provide the treatment or care she requires, she MUST come back to me. She is never to be surrendered, rehomed or passed on.
There will be an adoption fee.
Most importantly, this is not first come, first served. The purpose of these expressions of interest is to find the home that is the very best fit for Bumby and her individual needs.
Please don’t be offended if you apply and aren’t chosen. I know there will be many beautiful, loving homes offered to her, but a wonderful home isn’t necessarily the right home for Bumby. After everything she has been through, choosing the family best suited to her is a responsibility I take very seriously. 🩷
If you are based in Perth and would like to be considered, please send me a txt message on WhatsApp, I’ll forward you an expression of interest form so you can tell me about yourself, your household, your other pets, your lifestyle and the home you could offer Bumby.
She fought bloody hard to get here.
Now it’s time to find the family who will love her just as fiercely for the rest of her life. 🥹🩷🐾
