Meet Nimbles — the blind kitten who sees the world with his heart. 💛
(I’m sharing this on behalf of a friend who’s helping him find his perfect forever home.)
Born without upper eyelids and with a condition called microphthalmia, Nimbles had surgery to permanently close his eyes to keep him comfortable and healthy. But don’t feel sorry for him, this tiny adventurer doesn’t miss a beat!
Now fully healed, Nimbles is bursting with life. He’s playful, curious, affectionate, and absolutely thriving. He zooms around the house, climbs scratching posts, chases toy mice, and hops into bed for cuddles like a pro.
He currently lives in a foster home with cats and dogs and he loves them. He’ll do best in a home with another friendly pet to share his days and snuggles with. While he can’t see, Nimbles quickly memorises his surroundings and navigates with surprising confidence. He’s litter-trained, food-obsessed, and always up for an adventure (or a nap on your chest).
Nimbles does best in a calm, consistent environment, where his food bowls, litter tray, and furniture stay put. He might bump into a few things at first, but once he’s mapped it out, he’s a pro at getting around.
If you’re after a cat who’s equal parts resilient, sweet, and spunky then Nimbles is your guy. He may not have sight, but he’ll show you just how much love one tiny kitten can give.
