That’s 10 extra pearly whites to keep clean! 🪥✨ This Dental Month, let’s give those canine chompers the attention they deserve—because a healthy smile makes for a happy, tail-wagging pup! 🐾💙

🐾 Meet Charlie! 💙

Charlie came to us with vomiting and a history of eating things he shouldn’t. Unfortunately, this time his curiosity had led him to eat an electrical wire! ⚡

After surgery to safely remove the wire, Charlie made a fantastic recovery and is now back to his happy, healthy self. 🥰

He’s fully recovered and is just as sweet as ever! We’re so glad to see this gorgeous boy back to being his adorable self. 💕🐶

A reminder that dogs can be incredibly curious, so keeping dangerous objects safely out of reach can help prevent scary situations like Charlie’s.

See the difference! 🦷➡️🐶

These before-and-after photos show the removal of a damaged carnassial tooth—one of the largest chewing teeth in a dog's mouth. When these teeth become fractured or infected, they can be extremely painful, even if our furry friends don't show obvious signs.

After treatment, many dogs are noticeably more comfortable, happier, and back to enjoying life without the constant discomfort of dental pain.

**⚠️ Bird Flu Awareness: What Pet Owners Need to Know 🐦**

With recent cases of bird flu (avian influenza) being reported, we encourage all pet owners to stay informed and take sensible precautions.

🐾 **To help protect your pets:**
• Keep dogs on a lead and prevent them from interacting with sick or dead birds.
• Keep cats indoors where possible to reduce hunting and contact with wild birds.
• Avoid feeding pets raw poultry or raw wild game bird meat.
• Wash your hands thoroughly after handling birds or cleaning feeders.

❗**Contact our clinic promptly if your pet:**
• Has had contact with a sick or dead bird, **and**
• Develops signs such as lethargy, loss of appetite, breathing difficulties, fever, coughing, vomiting, diarrhoea, or neurological symptoms.

If you find sick or dead wild birds, avoid touching them and report them to the relevant animal health authorities in your area.

Staying vigilant helps protect your pets, local wildlife, and our community.
