🐍 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻
As we’re now in baby (hatchling) season for snakes, we’ve been very busy responding to calls for hatchlings on properties and in homes.
Some common areas these young snakes like to enter houses via include:
- Gaps under doors: Snakes have the ability to squeeze under some doors, by flattening their bodies.
- Openings in floors & walls: Snakes can enter through holes in walls which lead outside, under the house or through open pipes.
- Pet doors: Snakes of all sizes can enter through pet doors. This is a common access area for snakes.
Did you know that 2 out of 3 of the main species of snakes we catch give live birth! (no eggs)
