Nala the Cavoodle had a very unlucky run-in with a wishbone! She managed to eat the bone, which unfortunately became lodged in her laryngeal area and left her feeling very uncomfortable. 😥
Thankfully, Dr Sarah was able to skilfully remove it, and Nala is now doing much better and back on the road to recovery! 💕🐾
Nala’s story is a good reminder for all pet owners to be careful when feeding bones, feed them with caution, and always supervise your pet while they’re enjoying one. 🦴👀
Bones can pose risks including choking, becoming lodged in the throat, or causing damage to the gastrointestinal tract. While some pets may enjoy bones, they aren’t without risk, so always consider the type, size and suitability of any bone you give your pet.
