🚨 URGENT PSA: FOX BAITING ALERT - KEEP YOUR PETS SAFE 🚨

We’ve just received notice from North Sydney Council that fox baiting will be carried out in selected areas from 20 April to 8 May 2026, with an exclusion period extending until 5 June 2026.

Baits used contain 1080 poison, which is fatal if ingested and not treated immediately in dogs and cats.

Please take extra care:
• Keep dogs on lead at all times
• Do not allow pets to roam or scavenge
• Avoid baiting areas wherever possible

If you think your pet may have ingested bait, please bring them to us immediately.

Our boss’ ads clearly were not working.

So we are looking for a nurse to join our team.👩‍⚕️

‼️The important stuff‼️:
3+ years experience
Confident with anaesthesia, handling and nursing duties
Can place a catheter and draw blood
Loves animals and people

We work in an independent, family owned clinic that takes good medicine and Fear Free care seriously. Our nurses actually nurse, and we care about pets and the humans attached to them.

🐊 Crocodile Rolls Update… It’s Not Us. It’s The Crocs.

We wish we were joking.

Due to the recent flooding in Queensland, our crocodile roll supplier quite literally cannot reach the crocodiles.

Yes. That is a real sentence we just wrote.

The crocs are fine.
The roads are not.

Until the waters recede and our brave suppliers can safely access them again, crocodile rolls are temporarily out of stock.

We understand some of your dogs consider these an essential food group, and we sincerely apologise for the emotional distress this may cause.

In the meantime:
• We are hunting down alternatives
• We are on the waitlist
• We are refreshing the supplier page more than we refresh Instagram

Thank you for your patience while Australia does very Australian things.

A little puppy, a big scare, but an even bigger team. 💛

When her owners walked in suspecting a fracture, our team was able to quickly perform radiographs and diagnostics to determine the cause. With the help of our specialist friends who came down on short notice, she received surgery in under 12 hours and is already on the road to recovery.

We’re kicking off Chews Days and Tooth Days, with free dental checks with one of our vets every Tuesday and Thursday.

Dental care doesn’t belong in just one month. Dental health matters all year round and plays a big role in your pet’s comfort, health, and quality of life. These free checks are relaxed, no-pressure visits where we look at your pet’s mouth and talk through what we see.

When dental treatment is needed, we do it properly. No shortcuts, no hidden costs, and no optional extras. Your pet’s safety always comes first.

All dental procedures include home maintenance support, because dental care continues at home and we believe it works best as a partnership.

From 24 to 31 January, Jo will be in Bangkok undertaking advanced dermatology training. As a local, family-owned practice, we actively invest in training and skills to provide exceptional care for the pets and families who trust us.

During this time, Eugene will be based at Vets on Falcon and available to care for our patients as usual.

From 18 January to 24 January, Eugene will be in Shanghai undertaking advanced surgical training, reflecting our ongoing commitment to learning and improving the care we provide.

During this time, Jo will be based at Vets on Falcon, supporting our team and patients across both locations. We are also grateful to have Dr Nick Taylor stepping in to provide clinical cover at Pet Medical Milsons Point, ensuring continuity of care.
