Saddling up Myrtle for the first time!
Well done big girl!

I always talk to the horses, explaining what I'm doing. This way they learn to listen to the tone of our voices too. They get so used to a happy tone, that they stop and listen once you tell them to stop what they're doing with a different voice tone.

Everyone, meet the newest, cutest kid on the block, Peppa.
Peppa is a much loved kids pony and he's here for a fine tune and to look for some gaps in his training.

This was a big step for Mara, seeing that she didn't tolerate a bit before she came in for training. Her retraining went so well and now that she understands it all better, she has a solid foundation for her owners to just build on.

Meet Myrtle!
She is a 2 year old Quarterhorse x Clydesdale and absolutely gorgeous! She is here to get a good start on training and also to learn that she is not small enough for me to carry when she gets nervous 😄

This day changed a lot for Mara! She realised HOW desensitising works, and from there on, she is good as gold!
Now, she enjoys her work
She can stand still
She trusts me moving and touching her all over
She stays relaxed and looks at me for answers when she is unsure of something
All of this will get carried with her when she is being ridden too! It made such a big difference for her!
