Thank you all so much - there’s been a wonderful response to Riley and Rosie and they have their very own forever home lined up. And i think we probably have enough lovely families for the rest of this years crew too when they’re ready for their own homes

These two gorgeous girls are on the lookout for their own forever loving home. They did have a place lined up but unfortunately it fell through - so we’re on the lookout for home number 2.

They are best buddies , fluffy face is Riley, sweet face is Rosie. They are both very very friendly and would like nothing better than a home that comes with daily cuddles and lots of treats 🙂

Riley is about 8 weeks old, Rosie about 6. Both are weened - although they still love a bottle of water for breakfast if anyone’s willing to give them one, and despite what they would have you believe, are not inside lambs any more 🤣

Please reach out if you think you could offer these beautiful girls a safe forever home. Please share if not.

I can’t remember if I’ve introduced Stevie to you all before, but she is one very lucky girl, who has probably used up all her nine lives by now.

Stevie came to us as Mumma, after her person went into care due to dementia. Stevie and her two friends, old girl Jack Russells Lill and Lass, were left behind by the woman’s family and it wasn’t until several weeks later that they were finally transported to the Good Place thanks to a lovely friend of the woman in care.

It turned out Stevie was blind, very pregnant and mostly deaf, she was also quite malnourished and generally not in a great state by that point.

Stevie is not one to let things get her down though. She settled right in, had her babies a couple of weeks later, and even adopted a lonely neonate kitten who arrived at the Good Place the day after her babies were born.

Stevie raised her babies wonderfully and they have all moved on to their forever homes - except Winnie who has stayed and us now the prime tormenter of pup Abbey 🙂 She knows her way around and is living her best life.

Then Stevie thought she’d wander outside one night about two weeks ago unbeknown to me.

I found her the next morning cold and very sick laying in a puddle by the back door , with blood all over her head and neck.

I thought a local Tom cat had gotten her, as I could see him sitting not far away watching when I came out.

But once the vet had a look at her and cleaned everything up, it looks like an owl or some other hunter has grabbed her by the neck. She fought off whatever it was and has spent the last two weeks healing.

It looks like she now has a permanent head tilt and is much more wary of going outside. But really, in a week or so once her fur grows back,I think she’ll once again be back to her healthy happy self.

You know that ghostbuster movie with the two gargoyles that come to life - that’s exactly what Xena and Zander remind me of 🤣🤣

I feel like I have neglected my introductions 💕💕

Xena and Abbey chilling in my office while I try and catch up on some work.

Xena is by far Abbey’s favourite lamb and she is never far from her side. I’m not quite sure how Abbey will cope when adoption time arrives and Xena heads off to her own family

Hi everyone

I haven’t posted this publicly as they are largely coming to desex all the sanctuary babies who are either looking for homes or have recently headed off to their new families.

But the vet project will be here on 22nd June for cheap desexing and we do have two spots left for male cats / kittens.
If anyone is interested please pm me and I can tell you more

Pic is Stevie and her not so little daughter Winnie -just because 😁

Winnie teaching Abbey that a dog bed really only is for dogs so long as a cat doesn’t want it 🤣🤣
