Another Christmas, another gorgeous package from Animal Rescues Appeal.

Thank you so much to everyone. So much thought and care goes into each and every package you send around 💕💕

The photos are terrible but there’s gifts in here for dogs and cats and birds and guinea pigs and rabbits and humans - the list goes on. And we love them all

A couple more cuties here to meet everyone. This adorable brother and sister duo are Riff (the smaller one) and Raff (the tabby one). Born in a shed to a mum who felt she had no where else safe to go, Riff and Raff arrived here at the Good Place a few days ago. They have taken a few days to settle in, but are now doing amazingly, and are lucky enough to have already had a family fall for them. A little more socialisation and they’ll ve ready to head off to their happy ever after 💕💕

They don’t come much prettier than Babe 💕 Babe is a two year old ragdoll girl, from a loving home in Hamilton, who for personal reasons are no longer able to keep her. She is very friendly and loves to cuddle. She would love to meet her new forever family before Christmas.

If you think she might fit in perfectly with your family please reach out. She has recently had kittens (10 weeks ago) who have now moved on to their own homes, so she will need desexing before heading off to her new home. We will arrange this with her new family.

These two cuties have grown A LOT in a week-, and it turns out we have two boys not two girls - yes I know, you’d think I could tell by now 🙂 but a quick check when they’re hungry and scared does not always work 🤷🏻‍♀️

But here we are to introduce Samson (AKA Sammy) on the right and Popeye (AKA Poppy) on the left, two absolute sweeties who’ll be on the lookout for their forever family in around 3 weeks time

OMG I was not expecting 8!

This sweet young mum was rescued a few weeks ago when already very pregnant. Yesterday these bundles of cuteness arrived 💕💕 they are with a lovely foster carer and so far mum, all 8 babies and foster mum are all doing amazing.

In a couple of months time we eill be on the lookout for a lot of loving forever homes, until then we will be posting cuteness overload on a regular basis 🙂

Just too cute 💕 no names yet, two little girls whose mum is a stray. She found what she must have thought was a safe space to have her kittens (in someone’s roof). but then they fell down into the wall cavity once they started walking around. The house owner pulled a few weather boards off his house to find them when he heard them. He got the kittens to safety here at the Good Place, and is hoping to trap mum to reunite them, no luck so far though, but we’ll give her another couple of days at least. 🤞🤞

This gorgeous boy is Kreme. He’s two years old and in search of new digs.

Unfortunately, he can’t come here to the Good Place as there are already a number of springtime hormone-pumped boys running around here strutting their stuff, and a newcomer would likely move the chaos dial from mere madhouse to full blown asylum.

But he also cannot stay where he is as he does his job of protecting his girls a little too well.

If anyone can offer this lad a safe place to land please get in touch

I can’t believe where this year has gone, but here at the Good Place we have turned our thoughts to Christmas crafts.

This year we have moved away from our online shop - I just wasn’t finding the time to keep everything updated, and have instead selected a couple of our many wonderful local markets to hold a stall.
