🤍 Happy Wednesday Suzi Pooch family! 🩷

Firstly, a huge thank you to all of our wonderful pet parents who have been booking through PetBoost 🥰 We really appreciate your support as we transition to our new system. Having accurate bookings helps us regulate numbers, maintain a safe environment for all of our pooches, and ensure every pup receives the care, attention and enrichment they deserve throughout the day 🐾✨

One of today’s favourite enrichment activities was BUBBLES! 🫧🐶 Bubbles are a fantastic form of enrichment as they encourage natural chasing, tracking and problem-solving behaviours while also providing both mental and physical stimulation. Our pooches had an absolute blast chasing bubbles around our Sniffari area today 🌳🐾 Watching them zoom through the grass, explore amongst the trees and leap through the bubbles brought so many smiles to our faces. We are incredibly proud of our Sniffari area and love being able to offer a space where pups can safely explore, sniff, play and engage in natural behaviours in an outdoor environment 🤍✨

As the cooler weather settles in, we’d also like to remind everyone that coat maintenance remains important throughout winter ❄️🐾 Many people assume grooming isn’t as important during the colder months, but regular maintenance helps prevent matting, keeps coats healthy and ensures your pooch stays comfortable.

If your pup doesn’t need a full groom, a Triple F tidy-up can be a great option ✂️🤍 This service helps keep your pooch clean, comfortable and looking their best while maintaining their current coat length. It also includes a thorough brush-out to help keep their coat in great condition throughout winter 🐾✨

Isabella may be one of the smallest members of our Suzi Pooch family, but what she lacks in size she more than makes up for in confidence 🥹🤍

From day one, Isabella has been a social butterfly, happily mingling with pooches of all shapes and sizes and making friends wherever she goes 🐾✨ She loves exploring, investigating every corner of daycare and making sure she doesn’t miss out on any of the fun. When she’s not busy adventuring, Isabella is more than happy to stop by for a cuddle with the team 🤍

Her sweet nature, confidence and friendly personality make her an absolute joy to have around. We absolutely adore this little girl and feel so lucky to spend our days with her 🥹✨

Today we’d love to give a warm welcome to three gorgeous new members of the Suzi Pooch family 🥹🐾

✨ Penny the Dachshund, who joined us for daycare today and also enjoyed a manicure, pedicure and nail trim
✨ Buddy the Cavoodle, who spent the day at daycare before being treated to a pamper session with a Triple F tidy-up groom
✨ Cherry the Cavoodle puppy, who joined us for her very first daycare experience

We are so proud of all three pups and how well they settled into daycare today 🤍 First days can be a big experience with new sights, smells, people, pups and routines to take in, but Penny, Buddy and Cherry all did an amazing job.

Penny had a wonderful first day exploring daycare, meeting new friends and taking everything in her stride. She was such a lovely little girl to have with us and finished her visit feeling fresh and fabulous after her manicure, pedicure and nail trim 🐾✨

Buddy settled in beautifully and enjoyed getting to know the other pups throughout the day. After all the fun of daycare, he was treated to a pamper session with a Triple F tidy-up groom and looked very handsome heading home 🥹🤍

Cherry tackled her first daycare day like a little superstar. As a young puppy, there was so much to learn and explore, but she approached everything with curiosity and confidence. We loved helping her navigate all the new sights, smells and experiences while building positive associations with daycare 🐾✨

Helping new pups settle into daycare is one of our favourite parts of the job. We love taking the time to get to know each pooch as an individual, helping them feel safe, comfortable and confident while they learn that daycare is a fun and exciting place to be 🤍 We’re pretty sure there will be some very sleepy pooches heading home tonight after such a big day of learning, exploring and making new friends 🥹🐾

One of today’s enrichment activities involved our toilet roll cardboard enrichment, kindly donated by so many of our wonderful pet parents 🤍 Thank you! Cardboard enrichment encourages natural behaviours such as sniffing, investigating, problem solving and exploring. These activities give pups the opportunity to use their brains, build confidence and satisfy their natural curiosity in a safe and fun way 🐾✨

🥹 One of our favourite moments today was watching Moby the Jack Russell and Sadie the Jack Russell x Dachshund continue to grow their friendship. These two are absolutely drawn to each other and seem to spend their whole day together. No matter where one goes, the other usually isn’t far behind 😭🤍

🐾 Pooch of the Day: Luna 🐾🤍✨

Luna is our very own Disney princess 🥹👑🤍 With her stunning eyes, majestic white coat and graceful nature, she turns heads everywhere she goes. But as beautiful as Luna is on the outside, it’s her sweet, gentle and loving personality that makes us adore her so much.

This gorgeous girl is incredibly kind and caring, and she has a special way of making everyone around her smile. Luna loves spending time with the team and will often come over for cuddles and affection, melting our hearts every single time 🥹🤍

While she’s always happy to soak up some love, Luna also enjoys exploring and making the most of her daycare adventures. One of her favourite places is our Sniffari area, where she can sniff, investigate and take in all the exciting sights and smells 🐾✨

We were already so lucky to spend one day a week with Luna, and now that she’s coming twice a week, we’re absolutely thrilled to have even more time with her 😭🤍 She is such a treasured member of our Suzi Pooch family, and we truly cherish every moment we get to spend with her.

🐾 Happy Monday, Suzi Pooch Family! 🐾
We hope you had a beautiful weekend with your fur babies and enjoyed some quality time together 🤍✨ We had an amazing day at daycare today, packed full of fun, enrichment and plenty of happy pooches!

One of today's favourite activities was cooling off with the water hose 💦🐾 Not only is it a great way for pups to have fun and burn off some energy, but it also encourages movement, confidence building and engagement with their environment. Some of our pooches couldn't get enough of chasing the water and splashing around! 😍

We also introduced some novel enrichment today to get those brains working 🧠✨ We placed a camera inside a cardboard box and grocery bag and encouraged the pups to investigate. Novel experiences like this help build confidence, curiosity and problem-solving skills as pups learn to explore new objects and situations in a safe environment.

Another big hit was our cardboard box destruction activity 📦🐾 Many pups naturally love to shred and rip things apart, and providing safe cardboard boxes allows them to express these natural behaviours in an appropriate way. Activities like this can be mentally enriching, help reduce boredom and provide a fantastic outlet for curious pups who enjoy using their noses, paws and mouths to explore the world around them.

Muddy has the BIGGEST heart and is such a joy to have as part of our Suzi Pooch family 🥹🤍
This handsome boy absolutely loves daycare and makes the most of every second he’s here 🐾✨ One of Muddy’s favourite things to do is PLAY! Whether he’s zooming around with his mates, exploring, or joining in on the fun, he’s always ready for an adventure and somehow never
seems to run out of energy 😭🤎

Muddy is such a social pup and gets along beautifully with everyone he meets. He loves making new friends and is always keen to be involved in whatever is happening around him 🐾✨ One of his favourite places to explore is our Sniffari outdoor area, where he can sniff, investigate and satisfy his curious nature.
Muddy has always been a confident boy, but as he’s growing up we’re getting to see even more of his wonderful personality shine through 🥹🤍 We absolutely love watching him grow and develop into the amazing pup he’s becoming.

🐾 Happy Friday from the Suzi Pooch family! 🐾🤍

What a wonderful way to finish the week - spending our days surrounded by your beautiful pups 🥹✨

While many of our daycare pooches will be heading home for the weekend, our homestay pups are just getting started on their holiday adventures! 🏡🐾 They'll be spending the weekend with our carers enjoying personalised care, 24/7 supervision, plenty of cuddles, park visits, enrichment, and all the comforts of home while their families are away 🤍

Today we focused on some training and enrichment activities. Training is one of the best ways to provide mental stimulation, build confidence, and strengthen the bond between humans and their pups 🐾✨

Our group sit practice continues to improve every week! We worked on responding to the cue within 1–2 seconds, remaining seated, and making good choices around distractions. One of the biggest training tips we can give pet parents is to avoid repeating cues over and over. Give your pup time to think and process what you've asked - you may be surprised how much faster they learn when they're given the opportunity to work it out for themselves 🥹🤍

We also had lots of fun with our hoop training today! Jumping through hoops helps build confidence, body awareness, coordination, and focus while keeping training fun and engaging for the pups 🐾✨ Make sure you're following our Instagram to see all the training videos from today!
A friendly reminder that all daycare profiles require a card on file through PetBoost. This helps us manage busy morning check-ins and keeps everything running smoothly. You're still welcome to use a different card on our EFTPOS machine or pay with cash if preferred 🤍

🐾 Pooch of the Day: Bernie 🐾✨
Bernie is one of the happiest pups you'll ever meet 🥹🤍 This gorgeous boy absolutely LOVES daycare and is always ready for fun from the moment he arrives until the moment he heads home 🐾✨
Bernie loves running around and playing with all his friends, especially the more boisterous pups who can keep up with his playful energy 😭🤍 Whether he's zooming around daycare, having a wrestle with his mates, or joining in on the fun, Bernie always has the biggest smile on his face.

As much as he loves to play, Bernie is also such an affectionate boy who enjoys spending time with the staff and soaking up plenty of love and attention 🥹🐾 His happy nature is absolutely contagious, and we adore having him as part of the Suzi Pooch family.We love you so much, Bernie 🤍

Happy Thursday from all of us at Suzi Pooch 🐾🤍
Even though it’s been rainy today, there’s nothing better than bringing your pup to a safe indoor playground where they can still socialise, play, and burn energy while being supervised and absolutely showered with love and attention 🥹✨

Today we gave a very warm welcome to two new members of our poochie pack - Billie the Groodle and Ace the Tweenie Dachshund 🐶🤍 They both settled in SO beautifully and fit right in with all their new pup friends. We already can’t wait to see them again 😭🐾

Fun fact ✨ A “Tweenie” Dachshund is a dachshund that falls between a miniature and a standard size - right in the middle 🐾

For today’s enrichment activity, we brought out a giant balloon for the pups to engage and play with 🎈✨ Activities like this are such a great way to encourage confidence, engagement, problem-solving, coordination, and positive interactions with both humans and other pups 🥹🤍 It’s also such a fun outlet for mental stimulation and helps build trust and social skills in a safe environment 🐾

Margo is such a beautiful, divine little soul 🥹🤍 She is honestly such a blessing to have at daycare and brings the sweetest energy with her every single visit 🐾✨ This gorgeous girl absolutely LOVES relaxing on the slide with all her little pup friends, having playful zoomies, and making everyone around her smile 😭🤍 One of Margo’s favourite things is coming to see the staff for cuddles and affection, and we absolutely adore how loving and sweet she is with everyone around her 🥹🐾 We love you so much, Margo 🤍✨

Happy Wednesday from the Suzi Pooch family 🐾🤍

Today we want to give the BIGGEST warm welcome to Maple & Stormy, our adorable little mini sausages 😭🌭✨ It was their very first day with us today and they were honestly SO cute. We absolutely loved getting to know these sweet little girls and can’t wait to see them again for more daycare adventures 🥹🐾

We also spent some time today brushing some of the pups around daycare 🐾✨ This is something we like incorporating into the daycare environment because we want to help condition pups to feel comfortable, calm, and relaxed with handling and brushing 🤍 Creating positive experiences around grooming from a young age can make such a huge difference for future grooming appointments and home maintenance 🥹🐶

Brushing your pup is actually such an important bonding activity between dogs and their humans 🥹🤍 Gentle grooming helps build trust, creates positive touch experiences, and can help pups feel calm and relaxed. It’s also super important for maintaining healthy skin and coats ✨

For poodles and poodle crosses like Groodles, Cavoodles, Cobberdogs, Moodles and more, regular brushing is ESSENTIAL because their curly coats can mat very quickly if not maintained properly 🐩🐾 Mats can become tight and uncomfortable against the skin, trap moisture, and even cause irritation or infections if left too long.
Even pups without curly coats still benefit hugely from regular brushing 🤍 Brushing helps remove loose fur, dirt, and debris, spreads natural oils through the coat, and gives you the chance to check for any lumps, bumps, grass seeds, or skin issues early 🐶✨

And if life gets busy, you don’t enjoy brushing your pup at home, or your pooch just needs a little extra help with coat maintenance, you can always book in a bath & blow dry with us through PetBoost 🛁✨ That way your pup can enjoy a professional brush out, freshen up their coat, and leave daycare looking and feeling amazing 🥹🐾

A little reminder that grooming appointments can also be booked easily through PetBoost ✂️🛁✨ You can add grooming onto your pup’s regular daycare day or book grooming on a completely separate day if that suits you better 🤍

We also just wanted to kindly remind everyone that daycare bookings do need to be made in advance through PetBoost rather than just turning up on the day 🤍 We do have daily limits in place, not only for safety, but to make sure every single pup gets enough love, attention, supervision, and care throughout the day 🐾✨

🐾 Happy Tuesday from our family to yours 🤍✨

Today was such a special day at Suzi Pooch 🥹🐾 One of the coolest things that happened was that we had THREE Cobberdogs at daycare together 😭✨ Cobberdogs aren’t actually a super common breed to see all together, so it was so fun watching the trio hang out side by side.
For anyone who hasn’t heard of them before, an Australian Cobberdog is a breed originally developed for therapy and assistance work 🐾✨ They’re known for their beautiful temperaments, intelligence, social nature, and soft fleece coats, which makes them such lovely companion pups 🤍

Our resident Cobberdog Mango was joined by two beautiful first-timers, Nahla and Ace 🤍🐾 What made it even cuter was that all three of them were different shades of beautiful brown coats, and we even managed to get them all together for a little group photo 😭✨ They had the best time exploring daycare, socialising, and spending the day together, and we already can’t wait for the trio reunion again soon 🥹

For enrichment today, we did cart rides 🐾✨ This is such a fun activity for many of the pups because it gives them the opportunity to experience different movement, sights, sounds, and environments in a really positive and safe way. Enrichment like this helps build confidence, encourages curiosity, and gives the pups a chance to mentally engage with the world around them in new ways 🤍

We also celebrated Brian’s birthday
today 🥳🐾 Brian’s beautiful mum kindly brought along some special birthday treats for the pups to enjoy, which was so incredibly thoughtful 😭

🤍 We always take dietary
requirements and owner preferences seriously, so we made sure everybody participating could safely enjoy the celebrations.
Brian is such a beautiful rescue boy and seeing his confidence grow has been so special 🥹 When he first started daycare he was quite shy and unsure, and now he’s blossomed into such a happy, social, confident little pup. We are so proud of him 🤍✨
And to top the day off, Liv had a little dance party with Ruben the Golden Retriever 😭🐾 Which honestly might have been one of the highlights of the whole day.

🐾 Pooch of the Day: Dutchy 🐾✨�Dutchy may be one of the smallest members of the Suzi Pooch pack, but this tiny little boy has SUCH a big personality 🥹🤍 We are so proud of how confident and social Dutchy is at daycare. Dutchy is always on the move exploring daycare, but is also always happy to stop for cuddles, kisses, and little licks for the staff 😭🤍 This gorgeous boy brings so much happy energy to Suzi Pooch and we absolutely adore having him with us 🥹🐾We love you so much, Dutchy 🤍✨

Happy start to the week from all of us at Suzi Pooch 🤍🐾 We absolutely love starting our days surrounded by all your beautiful pups and their gorgeous personalities 🥹✨

First things first - a warm welcome to the newest members of our Poochie family, Luna the Staffy puppy and Molly the Mini Labradoodle 🤍🐾 Both girls settled in so beautifully and honestly felt like the perfect little puzzle pieces joining our pack 🥹✨

Molly absolutely loved spending time in the little one’s room making friends and exploring at her own pace, while Luna enjoyed the little one’s room initially before happily joining the main room with all the bigger, playful pooches 🐾✨ It was so lovely watching both girls grow in confidence throughout the day.

For today’s enrichment, we introduced some audio enrichment using our tambourine 🥁✨ Audio enrichment can be such a wonderful way to help pups experience new sounds in a positive, controlled environment. It encourages curiosity, confidence, engagement with their surroundings, and helps build positive associations with different noises and experiences 🥹🐾

We absolutely love watching all the different ways our pups interact with enrichment and seeing their little personalities shine through 🤍✨

🐾 Pooch of the Day: Odin 🐾✨

Odin has such a beautiful nature about him 🤍🥹 This gorgeous boy is incredibly gentle, calm, and caring with everyone around him. He absolutely loves spending his daycare days exploring around Suzi Pooch and quietly taking everything in 🐾✨

One thing we appreciate so much about Odin is the way he helps teach other pups that bigger pooches can be safe, friendly, and kind 🤍 He has such a lovely gentle energy and is such an important role model for many of the little pups around daycare 🥹🐾

We absolutely adore how sweet, patient, and caring Odin is, and we always love having him at Suzi Pooch 🤍✨ We love you so much, Odin 🐾

🐾 Happy Friday from Suzi Pooch 🐾✨

What a beautiful way to finish off the week with all these amazing pups 🥹🤍 We had a particularly busy Friday today and the pooches absolutely made the most of the gorgeous weather. One of their favourite places to spend time is our safari area 🌿✨ filled with natural bark, trees, shrubs, and lots of space to explore. It’s so lovely watching the pups engage with the environment naturally, sniffing, exploring, playing, and frolicking around together 🐾🤍

We also want to extend a warm welcome to Molly the Lab Cross 🥹✨ Molly joined us for her very first half day today and was SUPER confident from the moment she arrived 🤍 She spent the day exploring daycare, making new friends, and happily taking everything in around her 🐾✨

One of our absolute favourite moments today was watching the friendship between Banjo and Haines 🥹🐾 These two rescue boys were basically attached at the hip all day long. Everywhere one went, the other quickly followed 😭🤍 They spent the day chasing each other around, playing nonstop, exploring together, and even taking little rest breaks side by side before jumping straight back into the fun again. Watching friendships like this blossom at daycare is honestly one of the most rewarding parts of what we do ✨

For today’s training session, we continued working on our group sits 🐾✨ One thing we’re really focusing on is building a strong response to the first cue. Our goal is for pups to respond to the cue “sit” within about 1-2 seconds without needing repeated reminders. Having clear criteria like this helps create consistency for the pups and makes learning much easier and less confusing for them 🥹🤍

If you’d like to practise this at home, try saying “sit” once and then simply pause and wait. You’d be surprised how quickly pups can process and respond when we give them the opportunity to think rather than repeating the cue over and over again ✨ If the cue gets repeated multiple times, pups can start to learn that they don’t actually need to respond on the first cue because another one is always coming afterwards.

We also worked on polite greetings and reducing jumping up behaviours during these sessions 🐾✨ To navigate this, we focus on doing the least reinforcing thing possible when a pup jumps up, which is calmly removing attention and waiting for four paws back on the ground before engaging again. At Suzi Pooch, we absolutely want the pups to have the BEST day ever full of fun, play, and enrichment - but we also love helping build calm, thoughtful behaviours and good social skills throughout the day as well 🤍

For enrichment today, we also introduced some audio enrichment using our maracas 🪇🐾 The goal here is to gently stimulate the pups auditorily while also encouraging curiosity and confidence around new sounds and experiences ✨ We love giving the pups opportunities to explore different forms of enrichment in a positive and controlled way, helping build thoughtful, curious, and adaptable pooches 🥹🤍

Archie the French Bulldog is honestly one of the sweetest little souls ever 🥹🤍 This beautiful boy is ALWAYS smiling and always off on a little adventure around daycare exploring everything around him 🐾✨

Archie is so kind, gentle, and caring with all the other pups, and we absolutely adore the gorgeous energy he brings with him every visit 😭🤍 One of our favourite things about Archie is his adorable little ears - one up and one down 🥹 It makes him look SO unbelievably cute and unique, and we genuinely can’t get enough of it.

If you ever say Archie’s name, he’ll look up at you with those beautiful eyes that just completely melt your heart every single time 😭✨ Honestly, it’s one of our favourite parts of the day whenever Archie comes to daycare 🐾🤍 We’re constantly calling out little nicknames for him because he’s just TOO cute not to 😭✨ He is such a divine little baby and we feel so lucky to have him as part of the Suzi Pooch family 🤍🐾We love you so much, Archie 🥹✨
