💔💔 WE REALLY, REALLY NEED YOUR HELP 💔💔
Sometimes rescue throws everything at you at once, and this week has been one of those weeks. We have had several major medical cases needing urgent veterinary treatment, and the costs are quickly adding up.
We never want finances to be the reason an animal has to suffer. When they need us, we do everything we can to help. But right now, we desperately need your support. 💔
🐾 Maisy, four years old and already endured so much
Some of you may remember Maisy, who had an emergency C-section just a few months ago. At only four years old, she has already had four litters of puppies.
Just as things were looking up, a dental clean revealed large bladder stones. She had been urinating blood and passing small stones herself.
We couldn’t wait to fundraise first. Maisy needed urgent surgery on Monday, and we had to help her. Just look at the size and roughness of the stones that were sitting in her poor little bladder. 💔 She deserves a chance at a safe, happy life.
🐾 Wombat is just 16 weeks old
Wombat is a sweet little kitten who has been living with a broken leg for an unknown number of days, receiving little to no treatment.
When our partnering vet asked for help, how could we say no? He is just a baby who should be playing and exploring, not suffering in pain.
We urgently need to raise funds for his amputation this weekend to end his suffering and give him the chance of a happy, pain-free future. 💔
🐾 Sage is only one year old
Sage is a Border Collie who was being given away for having too much energy.
She arrived in care with holes all over her neck from an electric collar that had been too tight. Although the wounds have healed, she will carry the scars for life.
Just as we were preparing to put her up for adoption, Sage started limping on both front legs. Some of her toe bones have fragmented due to sesamoiditis and there are concerns about further injuries. She will be travelling four hours to see a specialist next week for further scans.
This young girl deserves a chance to run, play and enjoy life without pain after she’s already suffered so much❤️🩹
THREE ANIMALS. THREE MAJOR MEDICAL CASES. ONE VERY STRETCHED RESCUE.
And sadly, this doesn’t even include the new cats and puppies we’ve taken into care this week from pounds where they were facing euthanasia. They needed us, and we couldn’t turn our backs on them.
Between emergency surgeries, specialist appointments, medication and everyday care for all our animals, the costs are overwhelming.
