🎉 Success Story: Shyla Has Found Her Forever Home! 💙🐾

Some stories are just meant to be.

When Phil’s family decided he might enjoy having a companion, they opened their hearts to Shyla.

After spending a little time in foster care, it didn’t take long for these two to become the perfect match.

Now Shyla is living her best life… sharing the couch, heading out on adventures, enjoying cosy naps in her warm bed and looking absolutely gorgeous in her new coats alongside her best mate, Phil.

It’s hard to believe this beautiful girl was once waiting for her chance. Today she’s exactly where she belongs… loved, safe and part of a family.

Stories like Shyla’s remind us why fostering, patience and finding the right home matter so much. Every greyhound deserves the opportunity to be loved for who they are.

3 Days to Go 💙 EOFY is almost here and every donation makes a difference 💙

As the end of the financial year approaches, we’re inviting our community to help more greyhounds receive the care, support and second chance they deserve.

💙 Prince update 💙

Prince has only been in foster care a short time, but already he has come such a long way 🐾

He’s showing us more of his personality every day and proving himself to be brave, clever, curious and wonderfully adaptable.

So far, Prince has discovered some of his favourite things:
💙 Food (all food is good food according to Prince)
💙 Walks and adventures
💙 Meeting new people
💙 Toys
💙 Sleeping
💙 Collecting as many pats as possible

He’s settling beautifully into home life and has become quite the little social butterfly. He walks nicely on lead, is polite around other dogs and is very food motivated, making him a smart and eager learner.

Prince has also developed some very important hobbies… including collecting shoes and relocating them to his bed (socks occasionally make the collection too 😄). He also has a very sweet habit of popping his head between your legs when he wants extra attention.

Like many greyhounds learning pet life, there are still some things he’s figuring out. Time alone, new noises, car trips and some unfamiliar objects can still feel a little big sometimes, but every day he grows in confidence and continues to surprise us with how resilient and adaptable he is.

His foster carer says he is affectionate, funny, gentle and full of personality…and we have to agree 💙

It means foster carers opening their homes.

It means someone believes I deserve a second chance.
