Iā€™m still completely bewildered with how quickly Weetbix has changed since his polyp was removed. Heā€™s put on nearly 500g, his coat has fluffed out, soft and healthy. He has so much energy, his cheeky sass really starting to come out. He was a zombie kitten before his surgery, and now heā€™s been brought back to life. We couldnā€™t be more thankful for Highlands Veterinary Hospital for giving him his life back šŸ©¶

Meet Floyd.

Floyd is roughly 4 years old, he will come with his cage and all his toys, he loves apples, kiwi, mango, sunflower seeds, and pellets.

He is very well loved, however requires more quality time with his humans than can be provided. He is full flight and we want it to stay that way.

He loves his teaspoons, head scratches and being spoken to quietly. He loves music. He will be temperamental until comfortable with his new people, and is mostly used to a female owner.

What a journey Weetbix has been on šŸ©¶

16 weeks of medications, investigations, vet visits and an undeniable struggle. He would smell as though something inside him had died, he would snore like 70 year old man who needed a CPAP machine. Today our amazing team at Highlands Veterinary Hospital discovered a grape sized polyp inside his throat. We are excited to say good riddance to Peter the polyp, and weā€™re happy to see that since Weetbix has been home itā€™s like he just KNOWS he has a new lease on life.
He has been running around like an excited child, diving in for cuddles and eating food like heā€™s been deprived for months.

Over the last 16 weeks Iā€™ve developed an attachment to this little guy that I havenā€™t experienced in 8 years. We have bonded, in his darkest moments and in my own, we have sought each other out, relying on one another for comfort. Saying goodbye to him feels impossible, so for now, Iā€™ll just enjoy every extra day I have with him šŸØ

Our beautiful boy Weetbixā€™s mystery illness has finally been solved! Forever grateful for Dr. Diederikā€™s knowledge. Now our little boy will be able to breathe-easy with a healthy future ahead šŸ©¶

These 2 have GROWN šŸŒ±

As soon as we can kick this last little bit of ringworm off, theyā€™ll be ready to find their new homes. Kenna is such a personality, she loves to play, and loves to roll on her back for tummy rubs she has even figured out how to push the ball toy on an angle to move the balls over where she can whack them.
Kimble is cheeky, he pretends he doesnā€™t like me, then leans into my hand for pats where he purrs very loudly.

These guys have been through A LOT. Despite their growth theyā€™ll still need ongoing human therapy where they can continue to learn how to trust and acclimate to a home environment, but with the right love we believe theyā€™ll be the most beautiful additions!

When Jack came into our care he was a very scared little kitten who took a while to accept our trust.
Jack is now a bouncing playful little boy who loves laser lights and chasing toys, loves playing with other animals, cats and dogs. He is great with kids, super affectionate and cuddly.
