MISSING: A staff member's beloved cat companion has gone astray from the Tylers Rd area. He has some old balance and sinus issues and he's not especially fit for wandering. If anyone sees him, you may bring him to the clinic, no questions asked. If you have him scanned, chip details are out of date, but old owners should be able to reach us as well!

CLIENT ANNOUNCEMENT

Our After-Hours services have changed.

Due to changed health and work-life needs of staff, we are currently limiting our after-hours services.

Emergency after-hours services are now predominately telemedicine advice services ONLY, before 10pm.

In-house services continue to be available on a case suitability and veterinarian availability basis for:
++ Recent post-op patients
++ Medical conditions under current and active management.

FOUND: Lost Pet Pigeon, unbanded

Definitely belongs to someone, very tame and has aN old healed injury that it would not likely survive the wild.

As we cannot arrange rehabilitation/release of an introduced species, it is vital that the owner comes forward. If no owner is located and the bird is still doing well in 2 weeks, it will briefly be available for rescue.

Evidence of ownership required to claim, please share beyond our community if possible, as pigeons can travel quite a distance!!

MisterSir (aka MooMoo) is rapidly approaching an age and health improvement suitable for rehoming! We are now accepting expressions of interest in adoption for him. Adoption fee is $185 and includes desex, microchip, and initial kitten vaccination.

Object play develops in kittens around 5-6 weeks of age on average and is an important stage of development. Here, young MisterSir is able to engage in both "Object Play" and "Social Play" with Dr Celia during a quiet moment perfect for socialisation time!

Please note that there is a fine line allowing kittens to play with/around human appendages! You will notice that MisterSir is only being permitted to play with the fidget ring, NOT the finger. Dr Celia has reared many kittens and knows how to set/reinforce her preferred hand boundaries; if you are inexperienced with socialising kittens, it is best to avoid hands/fingers altogether!!

MisterSir came to us from some very kind tradies who found him starving and suffering under a letterbox in bad weather. He's making a strong steady recovery and will be available to adopt after 8 weeks of age.

** URGENT **
FOUND: Two pups, not yet microchipped, on the side of Arina Rd, member of the public who found them wasn't sure of landmarks but we think in the Dwyer Rd/Warrobyn Rd region.
Pups are OKAY overall, but one has an injured leg that needs owner approval for ongoing care. We will continue to provide pain relief and first aid, but we need the owners to come forward ASAP

UPDATE: Home safe!!

FOUND: A supremely sweet kitten found at the intersection of Thirlmere Way and Denmead Street.

Hoping to reconnect it with their family, they are in very good condition and are clearly a family cat!!

Not microchipped, further identifying details and proof of ownership required to claim.

We will be CLOSED from December 25th to January 4th, reopening on January 5th for our normal trading hours.

After-hours emergency services will be available pending veterinarian availability and suitability for treatment in our hospital during closure of normal hours.

> Please also inform us (or your usual GP) so we know to follow up if we do not receive this history.
