Hello to all our valued clients,

I’m writing to share some news and ask for your help.

You may have missed me (Nicole) in the office doing your usual check in and check outs of our furry friends.

At Christmas I received confronting news, a diagnosis of cancer.

I am receiving excellent care and medical treatment, but this does come with some challenges. At the moment I am extremely immunocompromised, so need your help to keep me safe and healthy.

How can you help?
•If you are sick please phone ahead for safe drop off and collection instructions.
•We are providing masks and hand sanitiser at the door and require their use for anyone coming into the office.

Rest assured even if you do not see me in the office, I am still working hard behind the scenes caring for our guests during their stay.

Thank you for your assistance at this difficult time.

As of the 1st of March 2025 we will be having a slight price increase of $5 per day per pet.
We have absorbed the price increases of our goods and services over the past 12 months. We have seen 3 price rise for our premium range of pet food alone over the last year.
We strive to provide a top quality service and facility, our small fee increase will help us maintain this level of service, facilities and care to your much loved furry family.

Silly Season Guidelines;

🎄BOARDING: If your pet is going into boarding, ensure their vaccinations are up to date a few weeks prior to going.
If your pet is coming up due, please give us as much notice as possible prior to boarding so we can do our best to fit you into our busy schedule.

🎅 MEDICATIONS: if your pet is on long term/ permanent medication, please ensure that you have plenty of supply as we will be closed between Christmas and New Years.
Please give us 1-2 weeks notice BEFORE you run out so that we have time to order and deliver.

🎄VACCINATIONS: please give us at least 1-2 weeks notice for adult vaccinations, and at least 3+ weeks notice for any litter vaccinations/microchipping appointments.

🎅 NON URGENT HEALTH CONCERNS: please understand that depending on your location it may take us over a week to get to you, our staff will do our best to schedule an appropriate appointment for you or provide alternatives.

🎄EMERGENCIES: as always, our highly trained staff will triage your call and advise on the best plan of action.

Please be kind to our staff this silly season, this is the busiest time of the year for us and with it comes an even higher demand for our services and longer than usual wait times for appointments.
We are currently booking out around 1 week in advance at the moment (maybe longer depending on your location). Our staff will kindly provide you with the next appropriate available time and know that we are doing our very best to accommodate everyone's needs.
Our staff will not tolerate any threatening or abusive behaviour.

Little Molly is on the look out for a new family to love.
Due to unforeseen medical issues her current owner would like to find Molly a new family. Please note the medical issues are with the owner not the dog.
Molly is a 4yo female desexed straight coat cavoodle.
Molly is microchipped and up to date with a c5 vaccination, wormed, flea treatment and heartworm.

💉 VACCINATION REMINDER 💉

As Christmas is fast approaching and we are fully booked in the kennels and cattery it is now time to check your pets are up to date with a current vaccination. Dogs require a C5 and Cats require a F3.
Under no circumstances will we accept your pet if they do not have a current vaccination.
Current means- the booster is done every 12 months or if a booster is over due the booster vaccination MUST be administered a minimum of 2 weeks prior to their stay.
There is absolutely no exceptions to this policy.

For our feline friends! I have heard reports of a feline vaccination shortage so please check your vaccination status and be mindful vaccination boosters may be hard to get over the next few months.

I am putting out an update as we have had two reported cases of canine cough this morning from dogs that have been here in the last 7 days.
If your dog has stayed with us recently and does develop a cough please let us know ASAP so we can keep track of cases on a timeline.

Most dogs recover from canine cough without intervention, rest nutrition and hydration is very important.

If your dog becomes lethargic, off their food, develops a temperature please seek veterinary advise and may need treatment for a secondary infection.

If you have a booking with us in the following weeks and would like to make alternate arrangements we completely understand.

Good morning

I am sharing a post from a local groomer, this is a very important message to keep in mind when taking your dog to the spa and to boarding.

If your dog is showing signs of being unwell or has been in contact with an infected dog please keep your dog at home.

Canine cough is highly contagious and very easily contracted, your dog can contract canine cough just from walking down the street and sniffing where an infected dog has been.

Local vets have expressed this year that there has been a high number of cases of canine cough throughout the community.

We have a very high standard of cleanliness and use a veterinary grade disinfectant twice daily in the kennels to prevent outbreaks of canine cough.
Your assistance with keeping your pets home if they are un well is greatly appreciated.

You may have seen a fair few post on our local facebook notice boards regarding the outbreak of “kennel cough”..
We have had a few clients with confirmed cases.
We have clients cancelling appointments withs dogs in isolation.
if your dog shows any signs of
-Coughing
-Unusual tiredness
-Breathing problems
Please isolate ASAP
”Kennel cough” can be picked up anywhere as it’s airborne, it can be as simple as an infected dog coughing at your letter box

The salon has been disinfected from top to toe and we will continue to keep deep cleaning each day.

If we see your dog with any symptoms you will need to collect ASAP

Large dog $40
Giant dog $45
Undesexed dogs $50( for dogs over 12 months of age)

One on one enrichment play time $10 per 15 min session. (Optional extra)
