🐾 We’re excited to welcome Dr Hugh Bourke to Vitality Vetcare from 7–23 September while Dr Megan takes a well-earned break.
Hugh brings a wealth of small animal veterinary experience, including 18 years as a practice owner in Melbourne and 11 years running a small animal facility in London. More recently, he has been travelling Australia in his van while working in veterinary clinics across the country, including Perth, Darwin and Mackay.
When he’s not caring for patients, Hugh enjoys tennis, horse racing, open water swimming and fine dining.

We’re looking for a confident, compassionate locum vet to join our bright, welcoming integrative vet practice from Monday 7 September to Friday 18 September.

Located in beautiful Bangalow, just 15 minutes from Byron Bay’s beaches, this short-term sole-charge role is ideal for a vet who enjoys thoughtful client communication, quality clinical care and a holistic approach to animal health.

What’s on offer:
• Sociable rostered hours, 9am–5pm Mon-Fri.
• No on-call or after-hours emergency work
• Fully equipped clinic with Idexx lab, x-ray, dental x-ray and ultrasound
• Experienced, supportive nurses and a friendly team culture
