hat we do. At Lennox Head Vet Clinic, we’re passionate about delivering evidence-based, up-to-date veterinary care. Our entire team is committed to ongoing learning and professional development, ensuring that we continue to offer the highest standard of medicine and surgery at every stage of your pet’s life. Alongside this, our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and facilities, allowing us to provide the highest standard of care - from routine health checks, to complex surgical and medical cases. We also embrace integrative approaches, weaving in holistic options where appropriate to support the whole health and wellbeing of your pet. Our team is at the heart of what makes this clinic unique. How gorgeous is Bliss! πŸ₯ΉπŸ©· Bliss was here for her Cytopoint injection recently, and absolutely stole our hearts. Cytopoint is an injection that is changing the lives of itchy dogs, targeting the itch at its source by neutralising the protein that tells your dog to scratch - providing relief and allowing skin to heal πŸ’«. Perfect for pups like Bliss with stubborn allergies! βœ…οΈ See you next time, Bliss.

An armful (or two) of puppies for your Monday morning! 😍 These gorgeous Jack Russell puppies were here recently for their first vaccinations and microchips. πŸ’‘ Did you know that in NSW, it's a legal requirement for puppies and kittens to be at least 8 weeks old, microchipped, and to have had their first vaccinations before they are sold or given away? 🐾 This helps promote responsible breeding practices, and minimises backyard breeding - as well as protecting pets from deadly diseases like parvovirus that are still present in the Northern Rivers. Best of luck to these little cuties as they head to their forever homes! 😍

Happy Friday from Nurse Marcia and gorgeous Cream, who was here today for a Suprelorin implant - a hormonal implant used fairly commonly in chickens to stop them laying πŸ₯š. This is usually recommended for health reasons, such as reproductive disorders, weight loss, stress and various other ailments that can be fatal for chickens if left untreated. πŸ” Cream was both very brave, and very cuddly. πŸ™Š We still love visits from our chookie patients!

🐾 A Quick Update From Our Team 🐾

We know how much you value being able to chat with our vets - and we love being here to help! πŸ’›
However, as our clinic continues to grow busier, we’ve found that phone consults are taking up a big part of our vets’ day (sometimes 30–40 minutes each).

To help us keep providing the best care possible (and keep our doors open!), we’ll now be introducing a $45 phone consult fee for non-follow-up calls.
βœ…οΈ Follow-up calls related to a recent visit will still be free of charge, of course.

We’re also reminding clients about our prescription fees:
πŸ’Š Initial scripts - $20
πŸ’Š Repeat/ongoing scripts – $15

These small fees cover the vet’s time reviewing records and ensuring your pet’s medication remains the safest and most appropriate option (and, writing out and dispensing the script) 🐢🐱.

Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support - it means the world to our team. 🩷
