We were super proud of Franco Americano ‘Charlie’ becoming our second 2YO trotting winner for the year today at Maryborough. Charlie is a homegrown little fella who we all love dearly and we are thrilled for his amazing owner who thoroughly deserves every success that comes his way. A big thanks to his superstar driver Chris Alford for looking after our special little guy.

Its been a very long and testing journey but last night at Bendigo the magic happened when Jay Jay brought up our first 2yo trotting win for 2025 in the Aldebaran Park 2YO trot. It’s always extra special when you’ve been part of their journey from the very start, but this guy had the weight of the heavens on his shoulders as he was the first born only a few days after dad past away, and why he carries dad’s initials JJ. A big thanks to his driver Jodi Quinlan who was also one of dad’s favorite people ❤️💛💙

We feel privileged and very proud of El Bravo tonight as he won the Vale Greg Sugars trot at Cranbourne Harness Racing Club . Greg was a great friend of the family and to win a race in his honor is something truly special. A big thanks to one of my best mates Chris Alford for another super drive and of course El Bravo who has given us an amazing memory to cherish. ❤️💚

It has taken a while to write this post because we are struggling to comprehend what has happened. There is nothing that we can say that hasn’t already been said by a community that adored him, but we have lost an absolute champion on and off the track, a great friend and an amazing human. Rest easy great man. ❤️💚❤️

We were very privileged to host another legitimate superstar this week at Evolution Lodge. The Locomotive enjoyed some time in our Water Walker before he heads off to Sweden to take on the world’s best trotters. It’s been 27 years between wins for Ian Green and there was no happier man on the planet as his pride and joy El Bravo brought up his first win last night at Cranbourne. She may not be in the same league as the VIP guests we had this week, but Tilly is certainly our superstar as she made it 5 wins in a row at Geelong last night. It’s always special to win any race, but winning at our home track and our own sponsored race is extra special. It was very exciting to host the champion mare Aardies Express and the megastar Swayzee after their wins on Saturday night. A big thanks to Jason Grimson for giving us the opportunity to spend time with these two amazing horses at Evolution Lodge.

We are incredibly proud of the big girl Tilly giving us the perfect start to the new season and making it four wins in a row last night at Shepparton. We love her to bits and we feel very privileged and fortunate to be part of her amazing journey.

Tilly brought up the perfect end to our year and made it 3 in a row at Melton on Friday with a new personal best mile rate of 1.56.6. A big congratulations to her connections Fred and Elizabeth Clarke and thanks for another great drive by Josh.

We were super excited with Tilly making it back to back wins at Geelong last night and in doing so bringing up our 20th win of the season. Although we have had many horses at Evolution Lodge this year, our racing team is actually quite small, and they are all trotters, so it is a milestone we are very proud of.
