Today I took Henry and Arrow to the oval with my kids to do some laps and let the kids play on the park. My 3yr old was having a melt down because she had sat in a puddle and while reassuring her I had spare clothes in the car someone else’s dog comes galloping over to us. When I asked them to call back their dog, no suprise the dog completely ignored the owner and proceeded to get in the face of my 2 on lead dogs and jumping up at my 3yr old, trying to steal her snack. The owner still not able to call back or control the dog comes over to physically pick up the dog to remove it because to my disbelief they didn’t even have a leash on them.

As basic pet etiquette, off leash dogs should not be given opportunity to approach on leash dogs. Not to mention go near or jump on somebody else’s children. And regardless of an area being designated on or off leash, dogs must still be under control. And if your dog is not under off leash control, regardless of its age or how friendly it is, please keep it on leash and at the very minimum have a leash on you at all times!

Now Arrow and Henry are both very well mannered and completely ignored this dog however the owners should also be aware given a different dog this could have resulted in a very bad experience for their dog. As I can say some dogs would have had some very strong feelings towards a dog approaching or jumping around their children.

Everyone should have the right to enjoy a public area or a walk with their dog without being hassled by somebody else’s dog but unfortunately this happens too often. Often with much worse outcomes. If you have a dog, please be a responsible dog owner!

So excited to have some beautiful grass ready in our brand new puppy area for the pups outside time. We have had our 🤞🏼 it would be ready in time. They will be adventuring out here before we know it! Arrow and Neon testing it out this morning. Nothing better than fresh long grass for puppy zoomies for Neon! 😂🐾

All ready for my mani / pedi says Neon.

🐾 All of my dogs are such a dream to groom. 😍Although they all have good obedience skills I would say I spend most of my puppy training on co op skills making grooming, nails, and things like vet visits calm and easy.

Having a Dalmatian and Dobe in the past, the thought of grooming a long hair dog sounded horrible but now with 3 long hair dogs I actually really enjoy grooming and find it quite satisfying.
