🌄 Take the Scenic Route to the Top!

Sometimes you don’t need a 4x4, hiking boots or an epic adventure… just a car, a little time and a craving for a spectacular view! 🚗💨

The Helderberg Farm Viewpoint Trail is a completely paved ±4 km route that winds gently up to one of the farm’s most beautiful viewpoints.

Park up, stretch your legs, enjoy a picnic or simply sit back and take it all in. From the viewpoint, you can enjoy breathtaking views across False Bay and the Cape Peninsula, with the landscape stretching towards Strand, Stellenbosch, Cape Town and beyond. 🌿🏔️🌊

✨ Viewpoint Trail:
🚗 Standard vehicle with medium clearance (stay on the paved road)
📏 ±4 km
⏱️ ±10–30 minutes
🛣️ Completely paved
🐢 Speed limit: 35 km/h
📍 Altitude: 155–350 m
🥾 Difficulty: None – this one is all about the view!
🌅 Perfect for a quick break, drink or picnic
🕗 Open daily from 08:00–15:00
💰 R150 per vehicle

Important: No fires or gas burners are permitted along the route or at the viewpoint. No drinking and driving.

⚠️ Please note: The trail gate strictly closes at 17:00. Vehicles remaining on the trail after 17:00 will be liable for a R500 release fee.

✨ Delicious Custard Apples (Cherimoya) have just arrived at the kiosk. With their creamy, tropical flesh and naturally sweet flavour, they're often called one of the world's most delicious fruits.

🍓 And the wait is over... the first strawberries of the season are now in stock! Sweet, juicy and bursting with flavour – perfect for snacking, desserts or simply enjoying fresh.

We want to pause and say a heartfelt thank you to the incredible people who help to make Helderberg Farm what it is. ❤️ Their dedication helps bring fresh produce to our tables and keeps farms thriving every day.

Whether it's tending the vineyards, caring for the strawberry fields, maintaining our hiking trails, welcoming visitors at the kiosk, serving delicious meals in the tea garden, or working behind the scenes with planting, cleaning, maintenance, preparation and setup of braai spots & venues – every role matters.

From the first light of dawn to the last task of the day, their hard work, skill and commitment breathe life into this beautiful farm.

To every member of our farm family: thank you for your passion, your perseverance, and your love for the land. We appreciate each and every one of you. 🌿💚
