🚨 URGENT – LOOKING FOR OWNER 🚨

This young male cat was found in Môregloed after being attacked by dogs. He is safe and spent the night in hospital, receiving the necessary care. He is now with us.

Sadly, he has no microchip, so we are desperately trying to find his owner.

💙 Every life saved is a reason to keep going 💙

Rescue work – especially TNR and caring for feral colonies – is often hard, stressful, and very lonely. For the past 2 years, it’s mostly been just me (with one dear friend until she moved away) doing the daily feeding. Carrying heavy food bags, walking through the veld, cleaning bowls, fetching water, and trying to trap injured kitties…it’s a lot.

That’s why today I want to give a huge shoutout to my hubby, Schalk 🙌🐾
He’s recently stepped in to help me – carrying food bags, cleaning bowls, filling water, and even joining me when we tried to trap the kitty caught in a snare. This past weekend he even spent hours at our car boot sale, charming customers and helping raise funds for Sterrewag.

It’s not easy being married to a rescuer, but his support means the world to me… and to the cats. 💕🐾

These 2 lovely adult ladies are still looking for their forever homes.

They have been sterilised, vaccinated and chipped - happy healthy kitties!
They are not fostered together so we’re not asking for a ‘double’ adoption 😉

Please consider them, they all have such amazing personalities and just need that second chance of a happy life ❤️

💔 This precious girl has been through a nightmare. She was spotted with a cruel wire snare digging into her neck. Since Monday, we’ve been trying desperately to catch her — morning and evening — but she hid under raised buildings and vehicles, terrified and in pain.

The loose wire kept snagging on the sides of our traps, making her too scared to enter.

This morning, after days of trying, we finally managed to lure her into a drop cage 🙏.

She received the urgent care and treatment for her terrible injuries and was sterilised at the same time.

🌸 She has fought so hard to survive — now she needs your help to heal.
