We aim to give our clients the skills to correctly interpret their dog's behavior and to teach their canine companions the commands and boundaries that coincide with their owner's lifestyle and needs. We have various services that can be customized to suit everyone's needs, budget and time frame.

Remember to move at your dogs pace and keep him motivated.

Not the most exciting activity, but such an essential skill. The skill of doing nothing.

Pups often require semi-constant stimulation, which then grows into attention seeking behavior. Teaching your pup to remain relaxed in what to them, is an exciting environment, will ultimately result in them having stronger coping skills, better social interactions and to remain focussed in the outside world.

Does your dog love his toy?

Did you know you can train your dog with his toy as a reward rather than just using food? Toys can also be used for scent work introduction.

If your dog has some older toys that might be past their optimal play stage, why not try to repurpose the toys as slow feeders or enrichment toys? Cover texture toys with pet-friendly nut butter/yoghurt and pop it in the freezer or make a slice in an old tennis ball and pop in some kibble.

Dogs don't always require the most expensive of toys. Just some out-of-the-box thinking.

Power breeds have a bad reputation largely due to uninformed ownership. Unfortunately society now has a prejudiced view of breeds in that category and the only way it's going to change? Is if the perception changes. A well trained dog can only be perceived as a safe, reliable returned in turn, you a responsible owner.

What fun to work with such an enthusiastic dog!

Enzo is a 6 yr old that we worked with as a pup. A few years later he still has all his foundations, but with a new sister he has developed a few small habits like jumping that the owner wanted to rectify.

Remember that training is an ongoing process that continues throughout your dogs life. Many things affect behavior, aging, routine changes, lifestyle changes, mood etc. So remember to keep updating your training as those needs develop.

Have a dog thats hot, but no pool?

A kiddies splash pool can be a great source of fun for your dog. You can fill it with plain old water or get creative and pop in some of their favourite toys. If the weather is a little iffy, you can utilize the pool in a different way!

Sprinkle some treats/kibble in the tub and then fill it up with empty bottles, toys, empty boxes, cardboard rolls, anything you can find. (make sure everything is clean and doesn't contain any food residue) and let your dog have fun diving in between the obstacles to find the rewards.

You can take it a step further and full the tub with sand and bury things for your dog to find!

A simple item, that your kid might grow out of, but can turn into hours of fun for your dog!
