People often think puppies are too little to learn, but those first few weeks are a golden window for bonding and confidence. In just 3 minutes and 24 seconds, we knocked out 6 easy movements: Sit, Down, Stand, Give paw, around (your legs) and weave between your legs. No pressure, no perfection, just tasty treats, soft talking, and letting them figure it out like a game. Do this for a couple of minutes every day, and watch how fast your little one catches on! 🐾✨

A Little Chapter of Unexpected Joy 🐾

They say Border Collies are entirely too clever for their own good, and our Zeke has officially proven the theory!
Thanks to a highly stealthy, completely unapproved "Bluetooth" rendezvous that only a genius Collie could orchestrate, we recently welcomed a surprise litter of 9 beautiful "Irish Collie" mix bundles.
Nuka is the most patient, incredible mama to this big preschool, and we are completely smitten. These babies are growing beautifully and developing the most magnificent, ultra-soft, fluffy coats, Zeke’s DNA is definitely shining through!
Even though this wasn't our planned direction, every single one of these little lives are beening raised with the exact same gold standard care, dedicated socialisation, and fierce love that we pour into all our dogs.
I just have to share a few of these adorable, fluffy moments as they start exploring the world on those little paws.

She is consuming roughly 1.2kg of fresh food daily, including bone-in chicken feet and necks for critical calcium, nutrient-dense organs (heart, liver, kidney) for vitamins, and rich beef goulash and chicken thighs for pure calorie density.
The science behind her milk production right now is absolutely mind-blowing. To allow this litter to pack on a massive 479 grams of total weight in the last 24 hours alone, Nuka’s body is producing an astonishing 1 to 1.2 litres of rich milk every single day! She is practically converting her entire raw food intake straight into liquid gold.
To track this explosive growth without using stressful collar markers, I use a Sorted Growth Master Scale. Because a healthy litter shouldn't drop weight overall, sorting the daily weights from lightest to heaviest proves everyone is thriving! Lately, there has been a massive spike in clever scams targeting the breeding community in South Africa.
Scammers are getting creative, using fake payments, and manipulating sellers.

As ethical breeders, our job isn't just to raise healthy pups; it’s to ensure they go to safe, permanent homes.

If you are a breeder looking to safeguard your litters, or a buyer wondering what a legitimate process looks like, here is the foolproof blueprint we use to keep our puppies safe:

1️⃣ The Power of a Solid Waiting List 📋
Never rush to sell. Build a solid waiting list well in advance. Implement a mandatory, thorough application form with targeted questions. This filters out impulse buyers and scammers right from the start.

2️⃣ Strict Identity Verification 🪪
Always request a copy of the buyer's ID and a current proof of address. Verify that the primary buyer is the one signing the paperwork. Never handle transactions through secondary or third-party brokers.

3️⃣ Watertight Contracts are Vital ✍️
A comprehensive legal contract protects the puppy, the buyer, and you. It should clearly outline health guarantees, spay/neuter agreements, and a return policy if the buyer can no longer care for the dog.

4️⃣ The 100% In-Person Rule (No Handovers!) 🚗
Never release a puppy to a third party, an Uber, or a courier service.
• Meet the buyer in person.
• Deliver the puppy directly to their home.
• Use this delivery as your final, mandatory physical house check.
💡 Pro-Tip: If you absolutely cannot deliver the pup yourself due to distance, use a trusted, specialized pet transport professional who will verify the home and identity for you.

🏆 HUGE NEWS FROM GOLDFIELDS! 🏆We are absolutely bursting with pride! This past Sunday at the Goldfields Show Grounds, our young star Ailimick Kai O'Ruben Big Deal Zawadi (Kai) took 3rd Place in the Terrier Group (Best of Group) under intense competition! 🐾✨Watching him step up in such a tough group ring was an incredible moment for Ailimick Kennels. A massive congratulations goes to his primary handler, Jasmine, whose beautiful bond and excellent work in the ring made this victory possible. Junior handling at its finest!Thank you to the judges and everyone ringside who cheered our boy on. Next stop: the KUSA FCI and Championship shows at the end of May!
