🌟 When Angels Step In: Caring for Our Four-Legged Friends 🌟

About two months ago, we discovered this sweet dog on a vacant property, and our hearts went out to him. We were worried he had been abandoned, so we began caring for him. 🥰

Recently, we heard that he is there for security reasons. While we take care of him and provide food, we also make it a point to spend time with him every day, playing with him through the fence and giving him a nice brush.

Throughout this experience, I’ve come to realise just how difficult and complicated it can be to get authorities to assist in situations like this. It has become painfully apparent that domestic animals, and animals in general, have very few rights. It’s truly sad, isn’t it?

Just when I was worried about how to continue providing for him, a kind soul stepped in and offered to pay for his next bag of Hills dog food! 🙏💖 I am beyond grateful for this generous gesture. It’s heartwarming to know there are still angels among us.

With this support, he will have enough food for the next few weeks again! Thank you to everyone who is helping us on this journey. Together, we are making a difference in his life! 🐾✨

Nuka, the Irish Terrier girl 🐾 Just look at that innocent face! 😇 You’d never guess that beneath those sweet puppy eyes lies the heart of a fierce protector. She’s a total darling with people and kids, but when it comes to other animals, it’s like she’s saying, ‘No thanks, I prefer my own company!’ 🐶❤️

It feels like just yesterday when we welcomed six adorable puppies for rehoming, and we are so grateful that each of them has found loving homes. It’s heartwarming to see so many people passionate about the Irish Terrier breed! Tonight, we spend our last evening with Molly May, who has truly stolen our hearts and become a cherished part of our family routine and pack. It’s a bittersweet moment as we prepare for her new adventure; tomorrow, she starts her journey to her forever home. We are excited for her and her new family, and we know she will bring them as much joy as she has brought us! ❤️🐾

Today was an emotional day as I participated in our church’s annual Colour Run. Last year, I ran with my beloved Irish Terrier, Zach . The memories of that day are still vivid, and it’s hard to believe he’s no longer with me.

Zach’s life was short, but his impact was immense. He brought joy to everyone he met, and his beautiful nature touched hearts. I still remember the challenging times, including breaking my leg and, just 3 weeks shy of his 2nd birthday, losing him to sepsis.

Today, I ran in memory of Zach, accompanied by Zeke, my Border Collie, who was named in his honor. We were also joined by Layla, a 7-month-old rescue White Golden Doodle.
