🐶 It’s that time again—another Doggy Tip of the Month! 🐾

Paws for a second for this one… 🐾

Your dogo’s paws take on the world every day—keep them comfy and healthy with these simple tips:

✅ Check for Cracks & Dryness – Cold weather, hot pavement, or rough terrain can dry out paw pads. Use a dog-safe balm to keep them soft and prevent painful cracks.

✅ Watch for Stuck Debris – Small stones, burrs, or even gum (yikes!) can get lodged between paw pads. Gently check and remove any unwanted hitchhikers.

✅ Trim the Fur Between Toes – Long fur can trap dirt and moisture, leading to matting or irritation. Keep it neat with regular trims to prevent slipping.

✅ Keep Nails Short & Comfy – Overgrown nails can cause discomfort or even affect your doggo’s walk. If you hear clicking on the floor, it’s time for a trim!

✅ After-Walk Wipe-Downs – A quick wipe after walks removes allergens, salt, or harmful chemicals from sidewalks and grass. Your pup will thank you!

🚩 Red flags to keep an eye out for:
🐕 Pawing at the mouth – If your pup keeps fussing with their face, they might be feeling some dental discomfort.
🐕 Bad breath – A little doggy breath is normal, but if it smells extra funky, it could be a sign of infection.
🐕 Bleeding gums – Healthy gums shouldn’t be red or bleeding—this could mean gum disease is sneaking in!
🐕 Trouble chewing – Struggling to eat or preferring soft food? Something might be up with those teeth!
