URGENT !!!!! PLEASE SHARE FAR AND WIDE. A black Daxie jumped out of a car with a trailer on the N3 Harrismith Durban bound today between 12h00 and 12h30. He is safe but pining for his family. If you are his owner, kindly contact Karen 082 372 9375. Proof of ownership will be required.

Every rescue dog has their own story, some we know like Lucy who's owners moved to another province and left her behind where she roamed the streets , very nervous and not trusting a human untill the Shelter people showed her that its OK to trust again. For Lucy it was a very special day when Pottie and Hadelle took her into their hearts and home also to be a sister to their male dog who was also adopted from our Shelter a few years ago. Lucy has settled in nicely, we could not have wished for a better home for her. May she give you many years of unconditional love and joy

Adoption....Not 1 but 2 of our Shelters little orphan puppies, Otis and Reba went to their forever home with Frankie and Eleanore Quinta. Two very lucky little babies snuggling up with Dad Frankie. Lots of love and spoiling going to happen here.Thank you for opening your heart and home for these two cutie pies, enjoy them

Joanne's daughter Qunè Hutchens was surprised by her mom adopting cutie Gracie pup, one of the 8 little orphans for her. Mom Joanne also fostered these little babies, had sleepless nights seeing to their needs arround the clock. We are most grateful for your help. Thank you for giving Gracie a loving forever home ,enjoy her.

A foster fail...Angel Beets volunteered to foster 8 little three week old orphan pups whom she bottle fed and cared for 24/7. Little Millie pup stole her heart from day one. Thank you Angel for all your help, it is much appreciated. Enjoy your little Angel

Gorgeous Cooper puppy, now named Kimi has left the Shelter to be with his new family, Jaco and Nerisha where he is being made such a fuss of and terribly spoiled with lots of toys , love and attention. Thank you for giving Kimi a place in your heart and home. 🤗🥰

Mandela Day at Creative Kids* 🐾❤️
Our Harrismith Animal Shelter puppies joined the celebrations and were a BIG hit!
So many cuddles and loves from all these little humans 🥰
A huge thank you to the parents, Principal Susan and the teachers for the food and treats donated for our shelter cats and dogs.
We were so impressed when the kids answered questions about how to look after a pet — they knew! Thank you for teaching them compassion 💛
A most enjoyable time was had by all!
