My name is Julie van Heerden and I am a lifestyle and nutrition consultant in the Garden Route district as well as online for a medical practice in Cape Town and surrounds. I am also the local and sole distributor of the full range of Raw Gold Premium Free Range dog and cat food and am proud to feed my fluffy kids only the best.. I practice in proactive human and pet nutrition to help identify and

remove high-risk lifestyle factors that prevent humans and pets from living long and healthy lives. With almost 3 decades background in human nutrition and gut health, a life long love and passion for animals and vast experience as a pet carer for over 18 years, I have taken care of and gotten to know a large quantity of dog and cat breeds. Unfortunately I have seen disease upon disease in dogs and cats fed the worst AND best kibble on the market.. I too had to learn the hard way and watch too many of my own fur kiddos die a terrible death because of what I fed them, thinking I was feeding them only the best.. My mission and passion on this platform, is to help fellow pet parents become educated on what they feed their pets, and the impact nutrition has on their lives and health. I strive to help fellow pet parents do all they can to create exceptional health and nutrition for their animals and to supply a premium product to make this possible and a reality. I do what I do solely because I love animals and it is my absolute responsibility to keep on doing research, to share my knowledge so that we can all create exceptional health for those we love, including ourselves. By treating the cause and not only the symptoms, we are healing dogs, not just suppressing disease caused by horrid dried kibble, with medication. "We do our very best, until we know better...
