A big thank you to F10 Products Manufacturer Page , especially Nicky, who visited us last week to share valuable knowledge about their fantastic products we use to clean, sterilise and disinfect our premises (and more). 🧼

Nicky also provided our team with important training on how to use these products correctly and maintain high hygiene standards throughout our facilities.

Keeping our workplace clean and hygienic is essential, not only for our staff but also for every animal that comes into our care. From maintaining our theatre to ensuring a safe, hygienic environment for our patients, these products and the knowledge behind them make a real difference.

Thank you, Nicky, for your time, guidance and support! We highly recommend F10 Products for their quality products and excellent training. 🐾

🐾 Saturday's Special Visitors at the Botanical Garden Market!

What a wonderful way to end our weekend at the Botanical Garden Market!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who visited us on Saturday, whether you came to have your pet microchipped, check an existing chip, make a donation or simply support the PDSA and SPCA.

We met so many special animals, each with their own little story!

📸 Meet some of our Saturday visitors:

🐾 A very special boy on wheels! Already microchipped, and sporting custom-made wheels lovingly built by his owner to help him get around when his hind legs become weak. ❤️

🐾 Chokkie (11 years old): Proof that it's never too late! Chokkie received his microchip on Saturday.

🐾 Victoria (17 years old): Our senior feline visitor also received her microchip!

🐾 Lilly (3 months old): One of our youngest visitors, who received her microchip!

🐾 Inka (3 years old): Lilly's sister also got microchipped!

🐾 Charlie (3 years old): This beauty received his microchip on Saturday.

🐾 Bella: A beautiful rescue adopted from Sentiara, who received her microchip on Saturday.

🐾 Oreo: Adopted from the PDSA as a puppy and back for a visit to receive a microchip!

🐾 Our teddy bear buddy: We couldn't resist this adorable Labrador strolling around with his favourite teddy bear!

🦜 A surprise visitor for Kaylin! He just came in to say hello, although we suspect he was more interested in checking out the plants!

🐾 Donald: A familiar face and a very special visitor for our PDSA team member Kaylin. ❤️

Why is microchipping so important?

A microchip gives your pet permanent identification and can help reunite you if they ever go missing. Unlike collars and tags, microchips cannot simply fall off.

Remember to make sure your contact details are registered and kept up to date!

Thank you to everyone who supported this wonderful initiative. Every microchip is another step towards keeping our pets safe.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who came along to have their pets microchipped, check their existing chips, make a donation or simply show their support!

Why microchip your pet?
A microchip provides permanent identification and can help reunite you with your pet if they ever go missing. Remember to keep your contact details updated!

And just look at Josh's face! 💙Clearly showing just how excited he is to celebrate Hug a Sheep Day!

Rexie is all up to date with his vaccinations! 🐾

Rexie came back to visit us at PDSA George last week for his final vaccination. We’re happy to see him completing this important step in his healthcare!

Why are vaccinations so important?

Vaccinations help protect our pets against serious and potentially life-threatening diseases, including parvovirus and distemper. Keeping your pet's vaccinations up to date is one of the simplest ways to help them live a longer, healthier life.

💙 Help us continue caring for animals like Rexie!

At PDSA George, we rely on donations to help cover the costs of essential veterinary care, including vaccinations, for pets whose owners cannot afford private veterinary services.

If you would like to contribute towards our vaccination programme, any donation, big or small, would be greatly appreciated.

Banking Details:
Bank: First National Bank (FNB)
Account Number: 5229 006 0089
Branch Code: 250 655
Reference: Vaccinations

Thank you for helping us make essential veterinary care accessible to more animals in our community.

Look who's back! 🐶

Tandjies came in for a follow-up visit, and we're so happy to see how well he's doing!

We always love seeing familiar faces at the PDSA. ❤️

A big thank you to Tandjies' owner for taking such good care of him!

A friendly reminder that regular grooming is important for your dog's health. Always use proper dog shampoo, not human shampoo, to protect their skin. Regular brushing and trimming are also essential, especially for long-haired dogs, to prevent matting and skin problems.
