…to our friends the George Golf Club for winning the Best Golf Course category in the George Herald's Best of George awards!

We're looking forward to the club kindly hosting the 𝗣𝗗𝗦𝗔 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗗𝗮𝘆 on 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟴 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 (shotgun start 12 noon). The format is Better-Ball with a scramble drive. R800 per player (includes green fee, prize-giving and post-game pizza). There'll be prizes, auctions, a lucky draw and goodie bags.

…and a very Happy Birthday to Viona. Our super-calm animal welfare assistant, Viona is on the frontline every day, whether it's in the branch or out in the community.

𝐎𝐡, 𝐌𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐊𝐚𝐭!
MammaKat went missing from her home in Albertinia last week, only to be found by a gentleman in the industrial area. She had a vaginal prolapse with serious damage to the tissues.

Our friends Kerneelsie Cares rushed MammaKat to us. She's looking strong after surgery and we're monitoring her for signs of infection. If she continues to heal, we hope she'll be able to go home early next week.
