What a rewarding, fun day 🤩

We spent a few hours today helping out Wendy Smith and her wonderful team from Cliffie's Crew - Cliffdale Animal welfare at a Rabies drive and primary animal healthcare clinic held in Cliffdale.
As always, super well done to Wendy for organising and ensuring we were all well fed, hydrated and amped for making a difference. 💪🏽

Certainly chose the hottest day in KZN Winter - at a whopping max of 34°C - to spend time under the sun with the animals.🥵
We were in awe of all the owners who walked their dogs and cats to us...

Together, the team vaccinated 220 dogs and cats against Rabies.💉
All the puppies were treated to a 5in1 vaccination.
Most animals also received deworming and antiparasitics (when they allowed a hand inside their mouths 😅).

Sorry that our handler, Keke, took a bite to his arm - he handles the most aggressive of dogs with such expertise and rarely comes off second - off for a tetanus jab, antibiotics, pain meds and Rabies booster for the human too!⚕️

Beautiful boy, Cooper, stole our hearts today!

A whopping 18kg at only 12 weeks of age, he promises to grow into a beaut of a merle Great Dane.

True to the breed, he was the most gentle pup and posed regally for his photograph to be taken 🐾

Feel-Good Friday 🤩

Today, our kennel hand, Tshepo, did something beautiful.✨️

A pretty cat had been visiting the area surrounding his lodging in Wyebank over the past few weeks and today, he took it upon himself to bring her to work - for all the right reasons. 😸

Dr Khan was pleasantly surprised to arrive at the clinic to find an extra patient scheduled for morning procedures. 😋

Tshepo had ordered an Uber to accommodate his travel companion (level up transport from the usual minibus taxi, for feline comfort, ofcourse 😅).
The Uber driver had the misfortune of being allergic to cat fur, but nonetheless, braved the sneezy trip from Wyebank to Assagay. 🚖

After some Uber disinfection and kind words of thanks to the driver, Pretty Cat was sterilised, fully vaccinated and treated with a comprehensive spot on antiparasitic. 🐈

Shout out to Tshepo for applying the knowledge we punt to our clients to his furry friend. ✅️ She is truly the sweetest little cat...

No more unwanted litters for this kitty cat and we hope to see her soon for her booster jabs. 😻

🙏PLEASE HELP US HELP OUR WELFARE CLIENTS 🙏

As many of you would know, we assist a large number of welfare organisations with day to day care and unforeseen incidents.
We are in a bit of a tough position, where we are having to limit the intake of welfare cases, due to large arrears amounts.

We are appealing on behalf of these organisations:
If our followers are in a position to make a contribution toward any of the welfare organisations' bills, every bit helps.
Section 18A certificates can be requested from the NPO's for tax benefit.

As it stands, the larger outstanding amounts are as follows:

We understand that a lot of people are under economic strain, with non profit organisations particularly struggling, being reliant on donations and fund raising efforts.

Please note that our price increase will be effective from 01/02/2026.
Unfortunately there's no way of getting around increased operating costs.

We will be implementing a loyalty discount for clients who regularly support us. Pets who we see all through their initial vaccinations will qualify for discounted sterilisation rates.

Our welfare clients will receive an email detailing the updated rates.
