The starving mom is doing so much better now she has a place to sleep and proper food - the 4 remaining pups are doing well and full of energy. We got Bruno off the hot chain, he needs a gate to keep him off the road that we will organise for him.We went place to place handing out donated containers for people to give their dogs water - hopefully they will make sure they filled every day.how do people not know their pets need access to water?

We uplifted Zoe today out of her tiny tiny cage - this poor girl , I have never seen such a sad terrified dog in a long time. There was no shade just hot sand and she was never allowed out of the box. She will go into foster shortly and then up for re homing.

The beautiful Wh**ey waiting on his forever home - I often wonder how surreal it must be for these dogs to come out of violence, noise 24.7, being hit, stoned, starved into peace and comfort. Thank you to every one that helps us with food for the street dogs.We spent most of the day shouting at people to give their dogs water in this heat. The poor dog under the tin was put on the kennel list - really harsh the way he is stuck at the back of a property under that tin sheet. We used up 80 kg of dog food in an hour with all the new thin dogs we found.

Wh**ey went to the dog parlour today and what a change - he is really a beautiful dog. He is 2 years old - husky x collie and needs his forever home. He is dog friendly but despite being with cats in the informal area the fosters cats are not enjoying having him around. Six steries in this morning to end off our steris for October - 2 female cats and 4 female dogs, ending the breeding cycle for these animals . Thank you to every one who supports sterilisation and made this possible.

Timmy has to be the most unique pup - he might not be the prettiy fluffy pup every one wants but his character will keep you entertained all day with his antics.He definetly thinks he is a fierce guard dog and a collector of fashion items, def a ladies man but one thing we know is that he is a super tough little pup to have survived what he has in his short life. He needs a special owner that will appreciate his quirks and give him a lot of love.Please message us on 065 367 0593 to meet him. He is in Somerset west

Steri day today with 30 lives changed. 19 cats and 11 dogs.It brings us to 68 steris so far this month .Every one will tell you that animal welfare in general is in crisis, the number of unwanted dogs and cats is quite over whelming as is the cruelty we see on a daily basis. Sterilisation remains our only solution, Thank you to every one that supposts sterilisation and to our donor who makes this all possible.

Flekkies kennel was stolen from next to the trailer while we were dropping the mom and pups kennel - it must have been 4 mins and the kennel was gone, positioned on a wheelie bin and they pushed it down the street. Luckily the people around told us which direction they went and we were able to find them heading off to sell if for R 50 for b**r. Thank you to Adele from is Living- Cape Town for helping with the madness today and helping to track down the thieves admidst all the busy streets, Crazy to think people will steal from dogs that we trying to help. We need our own private security it seems just to keep kennels safe.
