A call for help yesterday. Arnold helped this pup that was abandoned and was struggling to feed it, as it was throwing up continuously.
I was on a way to a meeting but did a quick turn to see them.

Pup had not been eating properly for 5 days 😫. I picked them up and went to PDSA. Unfortunately she had megaoesophagus , her temperature was very low (possible lung infection already) and the kindest thing was to let her go 💔

Sweet Maxine , I am sorry I couldn’t do more for you 🥲!

On Thursday I rushed to Langa because Ginger wasn’t well. Really bad Kennel cough (unfortunately lots of the dogs coming back from steri at SPCA contract kennel cough 🥹). Took her to PDSA , she is doing much better already!

On Friday we took Kane , Knox and Aroa to the Vet. Coughing for Kane and Knox, still a runny tummy for Aria, 🤷‍♀️always something.

On Sunday was our Adoption day at the Paws a while event. It was busy!!! Packing in the morning, loading dogs, trip to Langa to pick up boys and pups, set up, the time at the Promenade, … and everything from the morning in reverse … but it was a good day!

5 puppies adopted, 4 in foster care and an application for one more 🥳🥳🥳.

Another big day on Friday. 12 pups for vaccinations.

A quick feed and some food handouts when I dropped some off again.

And then I went to collect Rocky from the PDSA. The leg could luckily be saved and he was SO happy to be back home (although when trying to leave he was adamant to come with me. 🥹). Dropped medication f him with Khoko’s mom and will check up on him on Saturday.

Some cat food for the guy across with his cats, what a Tuesday , I felt quite broken.

On Thursday a call from Asiphe, someone dropped a tiny puppy that was found soaking wet at the Athlone taxi rank. He put it in a spare Kennel, but she cried and the neighbors complained. Before she was going to be just dropped in a field, we went to Langa to pick her up.

An emergency foster was found in the neighborhood (Thank you Julianna and kids 😊) , as I didn’t wanna mix the ones at home and the new one ( besides my house REALLY bursting at the seems !!!).

Checking up on the other Roxy, I found a broken cone and all the stitches out 😫.

A quick feed ( and as you can see Boxer wasn’t going to miss out 😂) , and back to the PDSA we went. 🥹.

The paw couldn’t really be re-stitched, but had started healing. After I dropped her the last time I discovered, she had actually spat out the Nexgard I gave her, so today I made triple sure it went down that throat 😊.

When dropping her back home I quickly visited Brian and his daughter, Pablo and Bobbi. This little girl also has very little (in case someone has old kids clothes her size).

A trip to Mama Zana who asked if I couldn’t help her with a House for her very loved Lollipop (Doggies name). The old one was so rickety , the plastic on top to cover the missing wood was held by stones. She was scared things might fall and Lollipop hurt.

She is a pensioner and has just taken in two neglected kids, she was feeding and taking care of with her own money, so funds were very limited, and there was never enough for a new dog house.

I got pictures still the same day and a HUGE Thank you !! She was so grateful 💚
Maybe there is someone with some kids clothing or other things, that aren’t needed anymore?

The girl is ten (in grade 4) and the brother is 8 (grade 2).
