This little superstar clearly knows how to work the camera 😹. We're pretty sure he's updating his profile to say:

"Hi, I'm BMO. I enjoy long naps in the sunbeams, surprise zoomies at 3am, and pretending I'm not at the Vet."

Kevin, too cool for the Vet! 👅🐾

Meet Kevin, a 4 month old Pit Bull mix who came in earlier this week to see Dr. Onstott and totally stole the show- tongue out and full of personality! 😎💙

We loved having this sweet boy in our hospital and can't wait to watch him grow. 🐾💙

🧪 Caught Red-Handed! 🦟
From May 1st to June 30th our team challenged ourselves to ramp up efforts around recommending routine 4DX testing (Heartworm & tick-borne disease test). We went full Diagnostic Detective—and here’s what we uncovered on our Roundup Board:

🐶 Heartworm: 2 cases
🦠 Lyme Disease: 27 cases
🦠 Anaplasmosis: 35 cases
🦠 Ehrlichia: 4 cases

Some pets tested positive for more than one disease, and several had no outward symptoms at all. Yikes! 😱 That’s exactly why routine screening matters—you can’t treat what you don’t detect.🕵️‍♂️

💉 What’s the best defense?

✅ Annual 4DX testing – helps us catch infections early
✅ Monthly preventatives – reduce the risk of exposure
✅ Lyme vaccination – offers added protection in our high-risk area

While no prevention or vaccine is 100% effective, these tools significantly lower the risk and may help reduce the severity of illness if a pet is exposed.❗️

These aren’t just numbers on a board—they’re real pets we helped through early detection and proactive care. Let’s keep that going. 💪🐾💙
